  • "We had a lovely time in this house."

There are nice views to the front, the village pub and general store are a very easy walk away and Portmeirion is a short drive - worth a visit! Just a couple of mini gripes - the house is heated via a heat pump which on a couple of occasions was not up to the job. Possibly our fault - the instructions told us very clearly to text if we wanted it warmer and we didn’t because it takes about eight hours to take effect. We asked for hotter water, however, and that was practically instant. Also, although the place was spotlessly clean, there was a vague but noticeable smell of dog, possibly because you are asked not to open windows because of the nature of the heating system. I’d certainly recommend the house, particularly if you have a dog as it is pet-friendly.

Thanks for your feedback and we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay. Please note the heating can be changed as quickly as the water, its simply a text, however the heating will take a few hours to full accommodate any changes. As this is our first year we are still learning the correct settings and have adjusted it based on your feedback. The faint smell has also been identified and rectified. Property Owner

  • "Steps somewhat uneven."

A handrail all the way up to door would be good. Parking too tight for 2 medium sized cars. Mirror would be good for help to exit onto the busy road.

Thanks for your feedback and we’re glad you enjoyed your stay, we have subsequently removed the excess building materials left over from the renovation and this have increased the parking space. We are located on the village road which is 30 mile an hour and only busy at peak times, however We will install an exit mirror to help with traffic visibility. Property Owner
