  • "A clean, warm and surprisingly spacious bungalow lavishly equipped right down to flannels and cleaning necessities."

Beach 3 minutes by car, stretches from opposite Portmerion in the north to Barmouth in the south, with a few detours. In winter Harlech has little apart from the castle and its cafe, which are great, and a small Premier shop- use supermarkets in Portmadoc, fish and chips in Barmouth. The oven packed up, but there was a good microwave, and as we live in West Wales ourselves, we know tradesmen are flat out this time of year and difficult to get quickly, and slow broadband and dodgy phone signals are normal in all country areas. Great stay, fabulous sunsets, and charming owners to help you.

Thank you so much for the fantastic feedback.Sorry about the oven ,which has now been replaced.Glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Property Owner

  • "Good accommodation with amazing views."

Very clean. No rear access for dogs is a slight issue as all footfall comes through the front door across the lawn. Also a better vacuum would help if you have a hairy dog! However the accommodation was warm and clean and reasonably comfortable.

  • "A very pleasant holiday with the accommodation being well presented and cleanliness, with all instructions fully explained."

Regarding information about the bungalow which you provided, there was no mention of the railway line at the end of the garden in a deep cutting, it didn't cause any problems, there were no more that 10 trains a day so there was nothing un towards (Last one at 11.05 pm)!!!! The owner did make reference to the railway in the info at the bungalow. We were informed about the local airfield but we only saw 1 plane over the whole week, there were more RAF helicopters and jet aircraft going passed Once again Thank You very much. PS Can you change the typeface on your information details to a darker face, so it is easier to read, it comes out very light grey, but your main references are in normal black

  • "It was a lovely bungalow with everything we needed."

It was spotlessly clean and we felt safe at this difficult time. The garden was nice and secure for our 2 small dogs, which is always very important to us. Just a short walk to the beach was just what we wanted. Thank you for a wonderful holiday and a much needed break after enduring months of coronavirus.

The garden was pretty with fruit trees and flowers and the proximity to the beach was great for walking our dog.

  • "We stayed at this bungalow for a week with our 2 sons and our dog."

I highly recommend Goetra to anyone wanting to visit this stunning part of Wales. The property was clean and well-equipped for our stay. The views are gorgeous and we were very comfortable.. The beds were soft, clean and comfortable, the choice of bath or shower was great. The kids were very happy with the wi-fi and the lounge and conservatory area provide plenty of seating. We enjoyed many a meal at the dining table looking out at the sea. One of the best things is the beach, within easy walking distance where we enjoyed walking and swimming. The area has a rich history and we loved exploring. Our dog is blind, and she adapted to the property quickly and enjoyed the fresh sea air too. All in all, a very positive experience.
