  • “The location was beautiful, exactly what we were looking for in regards to a relaxing, chilled weekend.”

The house was lovely and very clean. I understand that with COVID things have had to change, but think a check in time of 5 is such a shame and it meant the hot tub couldn’t be used as it takes a very long time to heat up. Check out at 9 is extremely early and really put a downer on the night before we left, as we knew we had to set our alarms for 7. This was to ensure we could strip all beds, including pillow protectors and mattress protectors and ensure we had enough time to leave everywhere spotless before we had to “promptly” vacate by 9am. We could only use the hot tub twice Over a 3 night period as it took so long to heat up, It only heated to what it should get to (40) once and the other time we used it was only Luke warm. That was the main reason we chose that place, due to the hot tub. The owner was very helpful when we did have to call her and very friendly! We had our dogs with us which was a huge plus and was perfect and safe for them to be free in the garden. I would say make sure you take everything you need as the nearest shop was 27 mins away. That as fine by us as we had planned our meals etc. Beds were comfy house was warm, we used the fire place and loved that however, there wasn’t any kindling which meant it was difficult to start it. Overall, we would definitely stay again, just a shame about check in and out times and a cold hot tub
