  • "This was one of the best, if not the best self catering cottages we have stayed in."

A very well appointed charming Jacobean cottage with wonderfully designed interiors and everything one might need for a relaxed holiday - or working holiday. John and Nicole are both fantastic and responsive when we had questions. We also much appreciated the treats on arrival. And of course Seating out in the courtyard with a glass of wine was perfect. A holiday that both me and my husband enjoyed. We will definitely be back.

It is unique and stunning in a beautifully quiet location. However within easy reach of the nearby beaches and villages . The owners were delightful and left us welcome food items which were very thoughtful.

  • "We had an absolutely magical stay at Bwthyn Canol."

The house is historically fascinating and quirky - and beautifully renovated. The garden is tranquil and idyllic, with a zip wire for children, tennis court, seating areas and resident 'wild' bunny. It's 10 minutes over the fields to the nearest beach, and the surrounding area is stunning with lots to keep everyone busy. J and N are wonderful, friendly hosts. It was the perfect trip and we hope to come back sometime in the future.

The original features alone make this a must stay place. (It's also spotless and cosy). Between the views, walks, beaches and tennis; everything you'd want to do is on the doorstep. Cottage owners J and N are beyond kind and accommodating. They are experts in the local area and so helpful, they made our stay extra special. We'll certainly be re booking.

The owners were very welcoming and hospitable. Had our own private seating area in orchard beside the tennis courts. Very comfortable cottage with many original features. The nearest beach was only 5 minutes away, with a bigger beach along at Barmouth. We would highly recommend a stay here and would love to visit again.

Beautiful grounds, with a great little walk across the fields to the beach. The hosts, Nic and John, were fantastic. They went above and beyond for us. They even sourced a birthday cake (which was amazing). We just couldn't fault our stay here and will definitely be back. Extra love to Ruby and Thumper too
