  • "Well equipped, spacious, clean and comfortable bungalow with a fabulous hot tub."

Abundance of wildlife and lovely views. Owners very friendly and unobtrusive but available if needed. Everything was just perfect for a relaxing break and only a few miles from town and lovely villages. Outside bedroom window hopped baby rabbits and squirrels with a multitude of different birds. The occasional lowing of cows and bleeting of lambs was so nice to hear. Night sky was clear and we sat in hot tub gone midnight watching stars and satellites in total quiet. Bliss. Would love to return. Thank you Ruth and family.

  • "The holiday accommodation was extremely nice."

The owner was nice and polite. Had a really lovely stay. The only issue I had was with sykes themselves. Couldn't get in contact with anyone and had to contact the accommodation owner directly due to this. We tried rearranging due to covid and had no response from Sykes at all. Very poor. I've booked through sykes a fee times and never had an issue before but would now possibly think of going through someone else due to this. No customer support at all through these trying times.

  • "It's a lovely tranquil place, where you can enjoy nature, and relax."

Waking up to the views from the windows was special. But remember that it is based on a working farm, and the road leading up to the house reflects this, its muddy and uneven. This didn't spoil our holiday at all.

  • "The Bungalow was comfortable and very clean with a lovely welcome pack and Ruth the owner was welcoming and happy to help with any problems."

We would have loved to use the outside seating area but it was rather dirty when we arrived and although we cleaned an area to use, as it is situated next to the farm main entrance road which is non tarmac and dusty when dry and muddy when wet, vehicles speeding by caused such a lot of dust it was soon covered again. The Hot Tub which was one of the features we were looking forward to using was also in the same area and did not feel very private so we only used it twice.

We loved seeing the different wildlife in garden squirrels, pheasants, woodpecker rabbits to name a few. A visit to bork zoo a must, also dolphin watch. Thoroughly enjoyed staying at bungalow.

In a private non overlooked location, approx 3-4 miles from the village where there are major super markets, very accessible. The views from the hot tub & patio were stunning! There are stunning views of the countryside all around. The best thing about it is the amazing patio area and hot tub. We sat out every evening in the heated gazebo and we lucky enough to be able to eat all our meals outside due to great weather. The children loved it. Would definitely recommend a trip to the Elan Valley. Stunning place! The only (small) negative is that some of the games in the garage (air hockey, table tennis, etc) had bits missing so the children couldn't play them. They were happy enough playing badminton and croquet outside though. :-)
