“My wife and l like having countryside cottages etc.”
This year we noticed a picture on the "Sykes" website of a cabin called the "Rivers Nest" in a little Welsh village called "Llangynog". We booked a weeks break.
Upon arrival the owner greeted us, which was nice and showed us around. The cabin is adjacent but above the River Tant. The cabin offered 100% comfort and every facility not only to provide an excellent holiday, but total tranquillity, amazing.
The wildlife and farm animals came up to the door and to the cabins fence. The wildlife included many woodland birds including Jays and Kingfishers, squirrels, pheasants, etc. In addition, opposite a farmers field with cattle and sheep who also cross the river and come up close to say hello.
If you don't want to cook, there is an excellent pub, "The New Inn" only ten minutes walk up the road who provide excellent food and drinks.
We can't say anything further except two points;
1). Try it, you will not be disappointed.
2). We will be going back.
Many thanks to Chris and Alan.
