"A fantastic cottage !"
Ty Twt is tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. It is well equipped for a short or long stay and the owners make sure all the information you need is at hand.
Ty twt is in an ideal location for exploring the west coast, centrally located if you wish to explore, equally there are fab walks on the doorstep if you don't want to use the car. Great corner shop, chippy and pub literally around the corner.
We have stayed in Ty Twt on a number of occasions and will certainly continue to do so, we love it and feel so relaxed when ever we are there.

The log burner added extra heat in the evening, if needed. It is an ideal base to explore the surrounding area. A ten minute walk takes you onto the coastal path, a great walk to exercise you dog. We experienced a very relaxing break in a lovely cottage.

"Lovely cottage close to a stony beach which our son loved."
The cottage had everything we needed. Lovely log burner fire which was needed, as the electric heaters didn't heat the cottage enough for us in December. We would definitely visit again.

"A beautiful cosy cottage in a quaint village."
This was our second visit to Ty Twt and our third visit is already booked. The cottage is absolutely spotless and tastefully decorated, one of the cleanest we have stayed in and is also well equipped for your stay. Village had a well stocked shop, chip shop and great little pub which also does food. Coastal path is literally on the doorstep along with a pebble beach. We have fallen in love with Ty Twt and can't wait to return.

"Great cottage in a lovely village where everyone was so friendly."
Good dog walks though beach is stony which doesn't suit our dogs but there are lots of footpaths right from the cottage. The area is beautiful and there are many places to visit. Seeing the red kites being fed was a highlight. Prenbyn beach is sandy surrounded by woodland walks. The local pub has good food and real ales. My husband did hit his head in the cottage a couple of times due to low eaves and light fittings but this didn't distract from the lovely time spent in the cottage. If it's available I'd book I really don't think you'd regret it oh and it was the cleanest cottage we've booked.

"LLanen initially felt a little odd for a holiday location, but it grew on us."
There are many footpaths between the village and the sea and there is a sense of community. The village pub is really welcoming, with excellent traditional pub grub.

"The cottage is so well equipped with everything you need."
The facilities were clean and beautifully furnished and decorated. The beach is a 5-10 minute walk from the accommodation, with stunning scenery and many low flying Red Kites, which were brilliant to see. There’s also a nice children’s park on the way to the beach.
Really great base to explore, albeit mostly by car, but that was as we expected.
The shop is 2 minutes away on foot and well stocked. There was also a chip shop which we didn’t use, but handy to have.
We’d certainly return and recommend.

"Ty Twt is a fabulous little cottage, beautifully decorated and very well appointed."
Everything you need for a stay away is there. It’s a short walk to a lovely pebbled beach, note there are a number of steps to navigate down to the beach. There is a local chip shop and a shop selling adequate supplies including the makings for the log burner.
The ceilings are quite low, I’m 5’7” which was fine, I imagine anything above 5’10” and you would have to duck. I had to light the log burner everyday as it was too cold with just the electric heaters in the evening whilst sitting reading or watching tv but it was December so to be expected and it’s nice and cosy with the fire lit.
I would definitely return to Ty Twt as I had a very pleasant stay, the locals are very friendly also.
There is parking at the property and I didn’t have to use the car whilst there as stayed local.
Definitely recommend for a couple or close family as one bathroom and property is small.

Everything was really clean and lots nice touches, beds very comfy.
We did have a few problems with the tv freezing when we watched Netflix which was annoying and needed equipment to clean out the log burner. Also think there would be limited hot water for a family as seems to be a small tank!
Enjoyed our stay - great for walks and relaxing, thank you very much!

"Our week at Ty Twt surpassed all our expectations."
The cottage was beautiful and clean. It had all you could need, the kitchen was stocked with clean and undamaged pots and pans. The bathroom was beautiful. All the bed linen and towels were fresh. We loved sitting outside and watching the Red Kites fly over.
Ty Twt was a great base for a lovely week. The little beach 10minutes away is a pebble one, a lovely walk and plenty of rocks to skim! The village of llanon is central to New Quay and Aberystwyth. The whole coastline is beautifully kept, with clean beaches and crystal clear sea. To finish our week off, we took a dolphin spotting boat trip, we saw huge jellyfish, lobsters and bottle nose dolphins. Amazing restful week full of family time! Thank you!

"A lovely cottage, which has been fully refurbished to an exceptionally high standard."
Close to the coastal path and with a network of footpaths almost from the door, it is perfect for dog owners. The enclosed patio garden was a great spot to sit and watch the red kites, which circle over the village. A great location as a base to explore the coastline. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and were made to feel very welcome by the local people we chatted to while dog walking. Highly recommended for those looking for a relaxing week enjoying an unspoilt coastal location.
