Maesygarnedd Farm Cottages

The Maesygarnedd Farm Cottages are marvellous history-enriched properties resting on the edge of the village of Llanelltyd, they all provide spectacular views of the wonders of the Snowdonia National Park, including the Mawddach estuary and the Cadair Idris mountain range, providing the perfect backdrop to your Welsh adventure. All holding evidence of their past use of an 1800's ship building warehouse, you can expect to find traditional wooden beams and other quirks in these stone-fronted dwellings. All refurbished to an extremely high-standard, the dwellings now stand to offer you and your loved ones a spectacular stay in this desirable area of Wales. Although the local area is rural and peaceful, the reputable Bwyty Mawddach Restaurant and Bar on site has indoor and outdoor seating and is within walking distance of all the self catering accommodation. The opening times for the restaurant vary throughout the year (for availability and reservations please contact Bwyty Mawddach Restaurant directly). Also within walking distance is an abundance of nature trails, perfect for walking cycling and horseback riding, here you can find some of the most magnificent hidden gems in Wales. The village is also home to the Cymer Abbey, the remains of an abbey church dating back to 1198, so you can be sure to unravel historic wonder whether you're unwinding in your dwelling or exploring your surroundings. Slightly further afield is the market town of Dolgellau, providing you with even more eateries, shops, and natural lands, it provides you and your loved ones an opportunity to mosey away a relaxing afternoon. Just a short car journey away can bring you to either of the delightful town of Barmouth and the village of Fairbourne. Both offering golden sandy beaches ideal for sandcastle building in the summer months, these coastal areas are bound to bring joy to all of the party.
