“Big Bear Lodge is a fabulous place for a break away with family or friends.”

We stayed there for a weekend and would definitely recommend it. The owners are super helpful and delivered us extra logs really quickly when we asked for them. It’s very toddler friendly too. The bedrooms and bathrooms are lovely and it’s great having an en suite bathroom per bedroom. The only thing that could make it better would be the addition of curtains or blinds in the main living area, as it felt a bit cold at night. The microwave could do with a good clean too. Other than that though would highly recommend and may well return in the future. Thanks

Thank you for the review and all the positive comments. After reading your points I ordered blinds for the lodge and they were installed a couple of weeks later and the microwave I found to be very rusty inside and was replaced before the next guests arrived in the lodge. - Sykes owner relations
