“Just arrived home from a thoroughly enjoyable weekend away at big bear lodge.”

very homely, warm and comfortable. Had everything we need and huge amounts of space for two under 5's to run around in.

very homely, warm and comfortable. Had everything we need and huge amounts of space for two under 5's to run around in. Helpful owner, who is only a phone call/text/email away. Outside space is also good, would be fantastic in summer. only thing I could say as a negative is the kitchen needs more light, especially when trying to cook dinner in darkest January! Other than that, superb, as was the cake on arrival!

Thank you for you lovely positive review and I am So pleased you have enjoyed the lodge and surroundings. The lodge is lovely in summer and then you can really appreciate the outside and the local places to visit. Thank you for your feedback about the lights, I had always thought the lighting was just right for the building but I have had a number of comments suggesting otherwise so I have now changed all the bulbs for the brightest you can find nowadays, I have also put in a free standing lamp and two table lamps into the main area and I am hoping this will brighten the room. I hope to see you again at Big Bear Lodge Cassie - Sykes owner relations
