  • "This was a very good property with friendly and helpful onsite hosts Gwyn and Lowry to sort out the minor queries we had during the week."

Property was clean, well maintained and equipped to the standard we have come to expect booking through the cottage company. Private access to the hill overlooking the farm (523m Gyrn Moelfre) and its MTB runs down was a big attraction as well as the hot tub and open country views.

  • "We had a lovely time at Cut Moch!"

We visited as a couple with our two doggies and had a fantastic week exploring Wales for the first time. The cottage has lots of places to visit which are within a short drive away, but we also ventured further up to the coast at Rhyl. The welcome gifts were very much appreciated, we'd recommend a trip to the shop just down the road for more Welsh cakes, as these were delicious! The cottage was very comfortable, the couch is different to the pictures and is much better! We had plenty of room for the four of us, and throws were provided so that the dogs could cuddle in on the sofa. Everything in the cottage is of quality and provided to a high standard. We felt there was a couple of items in the kitchen that would have made practicality easier, such as normal size cereal bowls, plastic cups for hot tub etc but we managed just fine! The underfloor heating was a massive bonus as we took advantage of the washing machine after muddy walks, so were able to dry our clothes very easily by having the heating on in just one room only. The hot tub was a very welcome addition after long walks through the day! It is a good size that would easily fit 4. You can tell that the hot tub is well maintained, it was very clean which was reassuring as we've stayed elsewhere previously where this has been a concern. We had an issue with the electrics in the kitchen one night, and we had a solution within 5 minutes of messaging the property owners! I couldn't fault their response at all with this, they made sure we were still able to access everything we needed and had a repair completed the next morning. They were on hand for anything at all that we needed, which was much appreciated. Overall the cottage was immaculate and felt very homely. There are a couple of bits that will need attended to soon (limescale in kettle and on shower head in en suite), but these are expected over time and very easily maintained. We'd love to come back and do more exploring of Wales! Thank you for a lovely stay.

  • "Lovely two night break at Cut Moch cottage."

The owners were very welcoming and helpful with everything. On arrival we realised our request for cot and high chair had not been received by them but after a phone call the items arrived in just a few minutes. We also had a bowl of fresh eggs, milk and some flapjacks provided. The cottage was warm, cosy and comfortable, beds were so comfy too. Hot tub was lovely as well. Great place, lovely hosts, lovely views over their farmland full of sheep, new born lambs and pheasants. Would definitely visit again.

The barn has been finished to a high spec. Wonderful views from the windows. If you go through the field gate at the rear and follow the track to the top of the hill you will find a fantastic panoramic view or the area. The walk is about 50 mins. Were also met the owners who are such friendly people. Great stay, great environment,

  • "We had a lovely time at the barn, the facilities and setting were amazing."

I thoroughly enjoyed my daily walks around the farm and up the mountain with the dog. I only made it to the top once but the views were well worth the effort. Relaxing in the hot tub as the sun set every evening was the perfect end to each day. The beds are so comfortable I took a photo of the mattress with the intention of buying one for home. The garden was completely secure for the dog and we spent most afternoons there relaxing and taking in the views. The loungers were again very comfortable and excellent for stargazing without hurting your neck. Thank you for a fabulous week!

Meat was from the local butchers (Izzy's butchers) The tallest waterfall was also in the nearest village you can see it from the bottom and top!! Highly recommended. £5.00 cash for parking all day. We had a great week, the cottage was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and spacious. Gwyn and Lowri were welcoming hosts, quietly present on site to offer help or ideas if requested. Weather was super (almost too hot!) and we had a lovely relaxing rural week away with plenty of hot tub use (despite the heat) and some spectacular storm watching in the evening. Many thanks.

Gwyn and Lowri are amazing hosts and really couldn't do enough for us making us feel as comfortable as possible throughout our stay. The barn was absolutely immaculate and well equipped, you can tell a lot of thought and effort had been put into guest experience. The location is so peaceful if you want to relax and escape from city life with lots of walks and some great country pubs in nearby villages - a walk up the Gyrn behind the barns and Sunday lunch at The West Arms is definitely a must! The bottle of fizz, eggs, milk, welsh cakes and little treats for our dogs was a really nice touch upon arrival. Will certainly be back for another stay in the future - the hot tub and the fact it was dog friendly was a big selling point for us! Thank you Gwyn & Lowri

The accommodation was stunning. The extra touches from the owners were very much appreciated. The facilities were outstanding. The place was spotless. The hot tub was all ready on our arrival. There were even separate towels for hot tub use. It was very private. We would go back in a heartbeat. We had a 2 night getaway for just the two of us but would love to take the family back at some point too. We have 2 small dogs - the garden is enclosed so no escape routes! The owners even left a blanket and treats for the dogs - they were in their element curled up in front of the fire. We didn’t venture out much as we wanted to enjoy our immediate surroundings but we did go into Oswestry for a very pleasant Italian meal. All in all we would without doubt recommend this accommodation.
