  • "This was a great property for our family get together."

It was warm, comfortable and very well positioned for us. The kitchen was huge, very well equipped and had an enormous fridge/freezer as well as more than enough storage space while the lounge space and dining room worked really well for our group. We loved the peace and quiet of Bontgoch and the many walks you could take from the front door. The long, quiet beaches and sand dunes of Borth and Ynyslas were only 10-15 minutes away and the children also enjoyed time in the village play area that was directly opposite the cottage.

  • "Beautiful, peaceful location."

Footpaths straight from the door. Cottage was brilliant and well equipped. Stunning scenery for walkers and dogs alike. If there was a gate to the side to keep the dogs secure in the front that would be our only criticism as we have very inquisitive Terrier’s.

  • "We stayed in Bwthyn Rhosyn Gwyllt for two weeks at the beginning of March."

We were looking for home-from-home where we could work remotely and was pet friendly, whilst also having access to the beautiful countryside and scenery of Wales. Bwthyn Rhosyn Gwyllt ticked all the boxes; the property was lovely and spacious, clean and well presented. Sian had left us a welcome pack of food which we really appreciated after the long drive, and was also very responsive to any queries we had. The property has lovely walks straight out of the front door, and is in close proximity to Aberystwth and various tourist attractions, as well as having high speed internet access (which was essential for us working remote). We were also pleased at how "pet friendly" it was with hard floors throughout; our only comment is that if you have cats like we do (one of ours is very athletic) we recommend you bring a cat window net/screen to put across the fireplace surround, lest they attempt to go up it! All in all - would definitely recommend!

  • "We have just come back from a wonderful stay."

Sian made us feel very welcome and it was warm and cosy when we arrived. Beds were really comfortable, plenty of hot water and a lovely welcome pack on arrival. The area was lovely and quiet with great walking routes from the door.We loved it so much, we have booked a return visit. Would highly recommend!

  • "Lovely holiday cottage, kitchen was really spacious and well equipped."

Plenty of room for 8 people, dinning room was great for entertaining. If you have any mobility issues with stairs, be aware that they are steep and bare wood. The back if the cottage is unsecured so your dog would need to go outside on a lead, as ours got out, through an opening in the fence.

We are surprised that you weren’t totally satisfied with the property considering I was in touch with you several times over the week and you told me how wonderful everything was? I am always available to discuss any requirements you have or anything you may need assistance with so it’s unfortunate you didn’t give me an opportunity to put right what you thought were negative points as I always want people to have the best time possible in our property. • "We have recently returned from a weeks stay and we all had such a brilliant time."

The chapel was unexpectedly decorated for Halloween and pumpkins were left for our children to carve, Little details which we thought were so lovely. The accommodation was clean and well stocked, beds were really comfy and the underfloor heating meant that the cottage stayed lovely and warm even on rainy cold days. The owner was extremely helpful when we had an issue with the fridge and we felt like we were really looked after. We would recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to explore the area and we would love to return at some point. Thank you to Sian and family for making it such a special and well needed family break.

The cottage exceeded our expectations. It is in a quiet and beautiful location and is clean, spacious and bright & had everything we needed. We were made to feel very welcome by the owner who was at the end of the phone should we have needed anything. The kids (and dog) loved exploring nearby & there’s a great play park opposite the house.
