    Mr Buttle

“The only problem with the facility was that two of the ceiling bulbs in the kitchen area were out and the third was flickering.”

although this did not inconvenience us as there was sufficient daylight getting into the kitchen area when we were preparing meals, it could be a problem for other visitors over the shorter winter daylight months if these are not replaced.

although this did not inconvenience us as there was sufficient daylight getting into the kitchen area when we were preparing meals, it could be a problem for other visitors over the shorter winter daylight months if these are not replaced. There was also one ceiling bulb out in the double bedroom Apart from this the accommodation and location was excellent and really added to the enjoyment of our holiday

The property

This semi-detached bungalow is located on the Tyglyn Vale Meadow cottages development near Ciliau Aeron between the beautiful Aberaeron and Lampeter.

Designed with couples in mind, this retreat rests in a quiet part of the complex, with open fields to set the scene for a peaceful holiday experience.

Be welcomed by the open-plan living area, which comprises of comfortable seating and a woodburning stove to warm those cooler evenings.

The oak dining table is perfect for some quality time together, and natural light sweeps in from the windows, inviting a sense of the outside in.

A cream coloured kitchen features a selection of appliances, a homely base to prepare delicious meals throughout the day.

After a long day, settle down in the bedroom of your choice, the first looks out over the front of the property, with overhead storage resting above the double bed.

In contrast, the twin faces the rear of the cottage, and is divided by a bedside table, with storage adjacent.

A quirky bathroom finishes the interior, nicely decorated with seaside accessories.

Once you have appreciated everything the accommodation has to offer, the south-facing garden is a refreshing place to enjoy the sunshine, and timber decked areas lie to the front and side of the cottage.

With a pebble beach and beautiful sea views, Aberaeron is perfectly positioned to enjoy boat trips and water sports, or coastal and countryside walks.

Short drives to Cardigan to the south, or Aberystwyth to the north provide more shops, craft centres, museums, cinema or theatre visits.

A promising mid Wales location all-year-round.
