“The location of the cottage was perfect for us, quiet and easily accessible to local beauty spots( Llanerchaeron was our personal favourite ), beaches , towns and villages.”

We had everything we needed, (except a potato peeler) plus the welcome milk and welsh cakes were very thoughtful. The owner phoned to introduce himself and check all was OK . The one tiny criticism is we had to pay £100 cleaning deposit and the floor round the toilet didn't look very clean when we arrived.

About the property

This semi-detached bungalow is located on the Tyglyn Vale Meadow cottages development near Ciliau Aeron between the beautiful Aberaeron and Lampeter.

This retreat rests in a quiet part of the complex, with open fields to set the scene for a peaceful holiday experience.

Be welcomed by the open-plan living area, which comprises of comfortable seating and a woodburning stove to warm those cooler evenings.

The oak dining table is perfect for some quality time together, and natural light sweeps in from the windows, inviting a sense of the outside in.

A cream coloured kitchen features a selection of appliances, a homely base to prepare delicious meals throughout the day.

After a long day, settle down in the bedroom of your choice, the first looks out over the front of the property, with overhead storage resting above the double bed.

In contrast, the twin faces the rear of the cottage, and is divided by a bedside table, with storage adjacent.

A quirky bathroom finishes the interior, nicely decorated with seaside accessories.

Once you have appreciated everything the accommodation has to offer, the south-facing garden is a refreshing place to enjoy the sunshine, and timber decked areas lie to the front and side of the cottage.

With a pebble beach and beautiful sea views, Aberaeron is perfectly positioned to enjoy boat trips and water sports, or coastal and countryside walks.

Short drives to Cardigan to the south, or Aberystwyth to the north provide more shops, craft centres, museums, cinema or theatre visits.

A promising mid Wales location all-year-round.
