Couldn't fault anything on the interior of this property spacious, functional, comfortable, fantastic window vistas, with very tastefull decor which is well maintained but I can't say the same for the exterior, a well established large garden which I'm sure did look magnificent and could again with some time spent on it and a little TLC required on the building exterior which sadly reduced our rating to 4 stars

"Have stayed in this bungalow at least 5 times and love the peace and quite and the accessibility to lovely walks but moderate and strenuous as well as leisurely."
Bungalow so lovely equipped.
Don't like leather sofa as it is cold in the evening to sit on or hot and sticky in the summer. We took a fleece throw as we knew it would be cold to sit on.
Otherwise, the owner is very generous leaving a tasty welcome pack.

"Very spacious accommodation, although there were only 4 of us it would still be great for 6 people."
Very well equipped throughout, the kitchen had all the necessary items and more! We cycled the Mawddach Trail to Barmouth, walked up Cadar Idris, visited Portmeirion and Bala and would recommend them all. If you walk in to Dolgellau, be warned it's a steep walk back but good exercise! The delicious cake and welsh cakes on our arrival were an added bonus!

"The cottage was in immaculate condition and scrupulously clean."
The owner left flowers and cake as a welcome gesture which was very kind. We had everything we needed including a stunning view from the balcony. Only one drawback and that was the town was more than a 10 minute walk as advertised. It was more like 25 mins down a very steep hill and the walk back up was very tough. Thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

"The cottage was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed."
We had a very active holiday with mountain biking, rock climbing, kayaking and paddle boarding. There is so much to do including walks and beautiful beaches. Being greeted by fresh flowers, cake, milk and wine was so thoughtful and well received. We cannot wait to return, there is so much more to explore or to just sit on the balcony and enjoy the ever changing mountain views.

"One of the nicest holiday properties we have stayed in, very spacious, comfortable and well equipped, had everything we could possibly need."
And the view from the front terrace is amazing! The owner had left some wonderful treats for us on our day of arrival which was a lovely surprise. The property is in a great location with beaches, lakes and mountains all within half an hour's drive. We didn't do as much walking or sightseeing as we had planned because of the heatwave, but found plenty of places to swim. Harlech beach is lovely and there's a great spot for swimming and picnicing at Llangower on Bala Lake - rocks and stones underfoot so take swim shoes. Would highly recommend the wooded walk to Dolgoch falls, and climbing Cader Idris is a must if you're feeling energetic - we took the Minffordd path which was steep in places but well marked and very beautiful, and swimming in Llyn Cau was very special. For eating out, would recommend the Cross Foxes inn 5 minutes drive out of Dolgellau, great food and very helpful, friendly staff.

The view is beautiful.
There wasn't a dvd or playstation but we didn't really miss them. You need to take your own dishwasher tablets and spare toilet roll too!

"Brilliant cottage high on the slopes above Dolgellau."
Great facilities, with everything you would need for a self catering holiday. Wine, homemade chocolate cake and welsh cakes were an added luxury upon our arrival. The evenings were wonderful, great views of the mountains whilst watching the sun go down. Definitely recommend this part of the country and the cottage to others.

"The place had plenty of room for everyone to relax in and the bedrooms were comfortable."
The kitchen was very well equipped and particularly enjoyed the filter coffee maker. It was a good position to tour around from and sitting on the patio at the front looking at the mountains was wonderful.
Would definately recommend this place.

"The house was very comfortable and really well equipped."
Everything was modern and clean and the wifi was good. The house was spacious enough for our group of 2 adults and 3 teenagers, so we could be together or do our own thing if we wanted. The cakes, wine and card on arrival were a really thoughtful touch. We had a great time and would be more than happy to go back again.

"There is nothing negative to say about Lletyr Bugail."
It is really home from home. Extremely comfortable with a thoughtful and welcoming home baked cake and a bottle of wine waiting for us. Even though the weather wasn't too kind, it didn't stop us from doing everything that we planned including climbing Cader Idris. Would definitely like to return.

"The cottage/apartment was a really good base for exploring south Snowdonia."
Very near the centre of Dolgellau very handy for the EuroSpa, eateries and pubs. The only drawback if you wanted to walk to the town, the property was at the top of a very steep hill, going down no problem but you needed to be fit to walk back! Having said that we did find a handy local taxi so at least on the evenings when we wanted to have a drink no one had to stay dry to get us back home.

"This was a trip down memory lane for me and my daughters as we used to go twice a year to this part of Wales."
For the other 3 it was a new experience they really enjoyed. The comfort and location of the cottage made it all an amazing experience, despite the typical Welsh weather! Difficult to find faults with the accommodation, but given my previous stays in good and equally priced places, I would suggest toilet paper, kitchen towels, dishwasher salt should not need supplementing or buying. Also, the instructions about bin collection days are wrong as mentioned in the cottage. Fortunately a neighbour gave me the correct information. So much to do in this part of Wales for all ages (for us 70years to 22months), I could not recommend it high enough.

Llety'r Bugail was perfect - faultless in the true sense of the word.
If we ever plan to visit North Wales again we would stay here.
If anyone is reading this review and is considering staying there, and it's available - do it..

Every little thing has been thought of and provided. Very much a home from home. Lovely welcome gifts greeted us on our arrival! The only tiny criticism that I have is that now that the weather is turning colder, some of the radiators could do with bleeding. We will definitely look to return in the future.

The only downside is the hill up to it. You need to be fit if you're going to walk but with a car it's no trouble. If you have fine weather (we didn't) there is a lovely terrace on which you can sit and have a drink and enjoy the view of Cadair Idris.

An idyllic and very relaxing place, the mountain views and ever changing skyline line was incredible and fascinating to watch. Not far away is Barmouth by the sea which is worth a visit,

"Happy with the service, everything as described."
I've not scored you as a '10' and 'Exceeded Expectations' largely because of the amount of marketing spam you generate. Although it's easy to filter out, it then takes a bit of attention to find the emails you DO need to read (eg how to find the keys to the property).
In respect of the cottage itself, I could not praise it highly enough. It was brilliant: spotlessly clean, well maintained, well equipped and well located. The owners left us a welcome package, which was much appreciated. Would seriously consider rebooking the same place.

Enjoyed very much the friendly welcome pack of victoria sponge, bottle of wine, pint of milk and some lovely flowers. Very thoughtful of the owner and very much appreciated. Regrettably the dishwasher failed the first evening and was out of action for the rest of the week. This did not spoil our week.
