  • "Super cottage for a couple with a dog."

So much to see in this area we have only just scratched the surface, will definitely be back. Hosts Richard and Debs were awesome, giving us walks from the door up to the local forest where we didn’t see anyone all walk!

  • "A perfect 'man cave' whilst working for a week in Wales."

Ideally situated for access to North Shropshire, Powys and Gwynedd. A warm welcome was extended by Debbie and Richard. The milk for cofee and Welsh cakes very welcome after a long drive. Although, I rarely saw them, I am sure that they would be ready if I needed anything. The quirky layout, with spiral staircase and sloping bedroom ceiling fully utilized all the space, allowing a very comfortable double bed on the mezzanine. The shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. The combination of microwave and mini-oven allowed a range of simple dishes to be cooked quickly , a benefit after a long day at work. I did not use the TV as the excellent WiFi allowed seamless streaming of on-line films. My only suggestion would be install 'blackout' blinds as light from the street-lighting was intrusive.

Thankyou Chris for your feedback, very much appreciated and even though we do like to try and stay fairly invisible to our holiday let guests. We are both most definitely available if needed for help and advice. I will take on board advice re. blackout linings to the downstairs curtains. Upstairs both velux do have blackout velux blinds. Thankyou, look forward to seeing you again if you are required to work in the area next year. Property Owner

  • "We, myself and my dog, had a lovely stay."

Ideally placed for walks in the countryside, nicely located with a an hours driving range of Bala, Welshpool and the coast, giving you plenty of options. Excellent week, great host, nice to be able to pop round for a chat for a change. We may well be back same time next year. Note: As mentioned, the spiral staircase is steep, takes a little getting the hang of if you have not used one before, but I wouldn’t say it is an issue unless you have mobility issues.

Thank you very much Ken for your review and was nice to meet you..Look forward to hopefully seeing you here again. Property Owner
