  • "This was a wonderfully clean, comfortable and well stocked place."

A nice appreciable touch the bread and butter Lots of stairs but the easy wide variety I struggle with stairs but found them easy. This would be perfect if the heating was not controlled by the owners. The bathrooms were very cold and we couldn't dry anything. We had to contact the owners to turn it on and it was random with still no heating in the shower room the one we used. We all want to save The planet but on holiday I like to be comfortable when paying for it. The food in the Village was great but booking a definite due to popularity. A good base to drive to places of interest.

Thank you for your feedback The heating is automatically set to 20 degrees and when you contacted us this was put up to 22 degrees ....this is the only control we had of the heating in relation to upping the upper temperature thermostat limit........ This was acted upon immediately on your contact ....... The heating is controlled by sensors on the electric radiators which ensures this temperature is achieved..... Property Owner

  • "Property was perfect but we had to experience a terrible night due to the followings: I received an email from owner saying that I will be contacted with key code before arrival time with mobile number."

Never received a call from owner and mobile number given in the email never worked. Than contacted you and received a code which was wrong code. When I reached there I found out that key code provided by you is not working and there is no mobile (Vodafone) signal at all. I had to wait couple of house outside with 4 little kids than decided to rent a hotel. In the meantime went into local pub and requested them to help me. Using their phone number tried to contact you several times but you only accept voice message. Again lost hope. Luckily you returned the call in the pub as per my request and contacted seller for correct code and gave me the correct code. It was a nightmare as children were mourning and weeping couple of hours. Till now owner never contacted and apologised. Owner should have some responsibility. This is completely unacceptable. Thanks

We are so sorry this was your experience and can only apologise.. We did send an email to you the week prior to your arrival with details of the property, full address, contact details and the key code. I again can only apologise if you thought there would be a second but all details had already been sent and that email did not promise a second email. This is standard for all guests. Again we can only apologise that you felt our phone only did voice messages, The phone was checked at the time and we had no missed calls or voice messages. I can only assume this was due to you phone signal and the phones not connecting. We were contacted by Sykes 9n the day via the same phone line and the key code was given to them to relay to you, also that this was in the email sent to you previously. Sykes contacted us again to which they asked the code again , as they stated you were trying a three digit code. The four digit code was again given and reiterated again to them this was in the email previously sent Again i can only apologise as we were not made aware you had been waiting outside the property and we had been under the assumption you had been able to get in as we had not been informed otherwise. Take care Property Owner

  • "We had such a great stay at the house."

It was all exactly as it looks in the photos and all equipment was of a really good standard - especially in the kitchen. It was also in a great location with the shop and pub literally 1 minute walk from the house. The pub car park round the back of the property was also really convenient. The owner, Chris, was also really quick to respond and very helpful. Thank you! We had a lovely time and will recommend it.

  • "Spotlessly clean house, in a lovely location."

Very well equipped and good layout of rooms. Lots of walks and beaches nearby. Easy parking at rear of property in The Victoria Inn pub car park. The property itself, is on a busy through road, so we found parking at the rear of the property much easier and safer. Small village shop is well stocked with every day items and would highly recommend The Victoria Inn pub, both are less than 1 minutes walk from the house. Property does not have a garden, however, there is a large playing field with play equipment 5 minutes walk from the property.
