  • "The property has amazing views, it is within walking distance of the town, which has a good selection of shops."

    The property was comfortable and had a very good selection of dvd's to view if needed. A great place to stay for a family with a range of ages.

  • "Absolutely love this place."

    It’s our second visit. We had to use the heating this time and it was fine, it’s a really lovely place to visit at any time of the year. You can chill and play games and the table tennis table is fantastic. It really has all the things you need, I was able to do a bit of washing and cooked a roast dinner too.

    It was a beautiful spot. Fantastic balcony, games room, decorated lovely too. We’ve stayed in many places along the front as we have family in Pwllheli. We would definitely come again, it went too fast!

  • "Superb location with lovely balcony view."

    Exceptionally well equipped.Has table tennis kit,belly surfboards,windbreak with mallet.Really good 4 bedrooms and 2 good bathrooms. Only drawbacks were electric cooker hob with eccentric control single knob and lack of windows in downstairs bedroom.Overall an excellent holiday home.

  • "Ground floor bedroom has no fresh air access."

    The window opens into the back storage which is locked off so the rear door/windows cannot be opened. In this hot weather there should be a way of getting air into the room. The ground floor games room vertica blinds do not align to close off veiws from the outside. The rest of the proprty was great. The first floor balcony is perfect for breakfast views over the beach to the sea.

  • "Three generations of our family have stayed at various holiday accommodations on the sea front at Pwllheli for the last ten years and this is certainly one of the best."

    Scrupulously clean, comfortable and extremely well equipped in the kitchen with everything you could possibly need to make your stay a pleasure. A couple of minor issues - the front door lock needs a knack when opening and the downstairs wc flush sometimes needs pumping a couple of times - neither of which spolied our holiday at all.The groundfloor bedroom is a bit dark because it leads on to the conservatory which is locked but the window can be opened. Great location across the road from the dog free beach but a short walk to the beach where dogs are allowed. Caffi Largo less than 100 metres away for great food, starting with breakfast. Wetherspoons as a cheaper option is about 10 minutes walk. I don't want to praise this house too highly as I would like it to be availabkle when I want to book again!!

  • "The outside of the property was disappointing – though partly due to the salt air."

    The letterbox was rusty, the No 7 not easily visible (a white number would have been better) and there was a plant trough filled with dead plants. The owner had put a plastic wreath on the door which gave it a bit more appeal. When you walked in there was “unique” smell – I thought it was odd, my husband said it was just different? (that was only on the ground level though) The bedroom décors weren’t very modern BUT clean. On the ground floor level there was a plain space at the back which was the same width as the property and about 6ft across, which you were supposed to access from a sort of utilities area but we couldn’t see a key. The redeeming features of the property though – both bathrooms were clean and modern; the kitchen was modern and had a comfortable seating area adjacent and a french window out to a rear balcony with seating. The best was – a comfortable, modern large lounge with french windows giving access to the balcony and sitting in the lounge you could look over the promenade to the sea beyond. Access to the beach was directly opposite, which was mainly shingles but you could walk either way for quiet some distance. Five minutes’ walk from the property took you to a lovely cafe serving from breakfast onwards and testament to the good food was that it was always full with locals – best to book!! Another two minutes’ walk and there was a small convenience store/post office. Five minutes’ drive (or a 15 minutes walk) took you into Pwllheli. ASDA. Lidl, big modern SPAR, good F & C shop, cafes, restaurants and a selection of small shops. Also, the train station so if you wanted to see the countryside without having to drive you could access Criccieth, Porthmadog, Barmouth and beyond. Given my initial negative comments, overall we enjoyed our stay.

  • "The ground floor bedroom was dissapointing as it wasn't clearly listed so it was a surprise that there wasn't access to an opening window and there wasn't any hanging space for clothes other than the back of the door."

    The downstairs bathroom however was lovely. The middle floor and top floor where really comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Generally the property was clean however it could have benefited from a more thorough clean in some areas. The worktops behind things like the bread bin were grubby, both tables needed a wipe before using and some of the mugs, glasses and plates needed a pre-use wash. There wasn't anyway for us to leave our rubbish as the outside bin was very full. As the bins aren't emptied weekly it might be worth the cleaners taking some rubbish elsewhere? There appeared to be a recycling box missing as there wasn't one for cardboard. The house is in a perfect location and we had lots of time on the beach swimming, walking and kite flying. We had a great day at Abersoch beach and another at Glasfryn Parc. Caffi Largo was great for a breakfast treat and we had very good fish and chips from Allports in Pwllheli. Becws Islyn bakery and Spar Market were great for supplies. Thank you for the welcome treats. The Bara Brith was delicious and we left the wine for the next guests as we're not wine drinkers. The beach supplies in the cupboard downstairs were great and it was handy having access to a washing machine.

    Thank you for your detailed feedback. We are delighted that you found the property really comfortable and well-equipped, and the location perfect. The ground floor bedroom leads to a storage area for the owners, where we keep various items which require the room to be locked for safety reasons. We will ensure that the window from the bedroom is unlocked to allow ventilation. We will also provide an additional hanging rail for clothes. We were surprised at your comments regarding cleaning, as our housekeeper takes particular care to ensure that the house is clean and tidy, and has always received very positive feedback in that regard. Of course, it is possible that some crockery and glassware may not have been adequately washed by previous guests before being put away in the cupboards. We have of course passed on your concerns to our housekeeper. As regards refuse collection, unfortunately Gwynedd Council only collects rubbish every 3 weeks, which means that the wheelie-bin can become full during busy rental periods. They are unable to replace the cardboard recycling box at present, but we do provide a plastic box/bag for this purpose. The previous one must have been taken away. We are delighted that you enjoyed the local area and food as much as we do, and look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Property Owner

  • "The ground floor bedroom was disappointing, it wasn’t made clear in the photos or description that it over looked an unattractive locked conservatory/lean-to making the room dark and uninviting."

    The room was also damp and the toilet didn’t flush. The rest of the house was great. The exterior bins were full when we arrived making rubbish disposal over the week a problem.

    Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you found the house great and enjoyed your stay. The rear conservatory is kept locked as it is used by the owners for storage. I am sorry if this was not made clear in the property description. We will ensure that this is amended. Since the rear bedroom is on the ground floor and faces north, it is not as bright as the other rooms. There is, however, no damp. The toilet flush mechanism in the en-suite has 2 buttons-for short or long flush-which we have checked and is operating correctly. We are sorry that the bin was full. Unfortunately, the Council only collects non-recyclable waste every 3 weeks, which means that during busy periods it can get full. We are looking into a solution for this. Many thanks for bringing it up our attention. We hope to welcome you back to 7 Min Y Traeth again soon. Property Owner
