  • "Lovely property with a gorgeous view and the reverse layout allows you to make the most of this."

If it's possible, some outdoor furniture on the balcony would improve the facilities score. The property is clean and tidy with plenty of parking available and is about 15-20 minutes walk to the town centre through a nature reserve. You'll find plenty of places to eat, drink & shop for supplies here. We all enjoyed a comfy, relaxing week and would highly recommend if you want a quiet, peaceful break by the coast.

  • "The pillows were very flat with no pillow protectors in use, the sheets were heavily creased on arrival and the duvet cover bobbly (old)."

For the price we paid, we would expect similar quality to a chain hotel. The downstairs bathroom window wouldn't close so it was very cold downstairs, the remote was missing in the front bedroom. The porch doors are missing the bottom latch, we found these swung open overnight. The upstairs is very noisy with creaky floorboards which meant very broken sleep is someone got up in the night. There is also a public footpath which runs against the house which can get very noisy as people have loud conversations. I was also woken by the binmen, I couldn't find any information on what day they were due in the guest pack. They have to walk around the back of the property to collect and empty the bin just before 6am, then wheel it back - I could have wheeled it out front if I had access to the information. There is a balcony, which is nice but no furniture provided to sit and enjoy the view. We also found the balcony door would open on its own in the wind, despite never using it. The property is up for sale, all I have mentioned are inexpensive tweaks that would greatly improve the property so I can understand that maybe the current owners don't want to invest. I wouldn't pay above £350 a week for a property like this in its current condition, we paid considerably more unfortunately. Lastly, there was no gift basket - a lot of places we've stayed at, and paid less for, provide a pint of milk, biscuits, or tea as a welcome. Pwllheli is a beautiful place with lots to see and do, I highly recommend catching the train from Pwllheli to Aberdovey, it is a wonderfully scenic route. I can't recommend the place based on the price paid.

Thank you for your feedback I do understand when the weather turns bad on your holidays and you have to spend time in the house it’s very frustrating , I can assure you these points will be taken care of as we take all reviews to heart and are constantly improving the property there are a lot of areas a host has no control over including the care taken by guest but we strive to please Property Owner

  • "Honestly a great home to spend time away in!"

Plenty of space inside, everything we needed was provided! I can not fault this holiday home!! Landlord rang to make sure everything was good, we were truly looked after! I would definitely be going back.

  • "Lovely location but the property needs serious updating in places: The kitchen is not really fit for self catering and the beds and bedding are definitely 3rd rate."

Electrics not up to standard cleanliness a problem.

  • "The property was spacious, and the upstairs of the property had been painted and refreshed."

The downstairs of the property was older, shabbier and very dirty in places - dead spiders and creepy crawlies. Unless the downstairs matched the upstairs we wouldn’t be stopping here again.

The house itself is extremely comfortable and well laid out and would recommend every single time. Looking forward to staying again.
