The hot tub was amazing, but perhaps a canopy would be of benefit as because of the rain we never really got chance to use it. The only reason I didn't give full marks for comfort was because a couple of the mattresses were very soft/lumpy, otherwise this place is lovely.

5 of us had a long weekend and were very lucky with sunny weather. The cottage is in a lovely, quiet location but very handy for Montgomery which is a quaint little village nearby. Great pub, tea room and fish and chop shop too. The cottage is very spacious and well appointed and the hot tub is a great addition, lively to sit in as the sun went down with a view of Montgomery Castle. The beds were very comfy. • "Conquer Hall was perfect for our visit."

We were a family group of 8 adults and we had everything we needed. Highly Recommended. The cottage was immaculately presented, there was plenty of space and were very comfortable throughout. With two of the group with slight mobility issues it was extremely handy that there was a ground floor bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen area was wonderfully sized, with the ability to socialise there or in the adjourning room where comfy seats were to be found. The bedrooms were all of a good size with comfortable beds. One thing to note is that the ceilings are not the highest and two of our group were over 6"4 and they needed to be careful, particularly on the top floor however this did not detract from the stay in any way. We used the hot tub and were reassured with its cleanliness as it was checked every morning and on the morning of our departure it was thoroughly cleaned for the next guests. The cottage is in a fantastic location, with stunning views from every window. The outside sitting areas and gardens were also very well presented. An ideal base for exploring the surroundings, we travelled to Barmouth Beach, National Trust properties and took advantage of some recommended walking routes too. Easily space for three cars to park, and also for any EV drivers there is an outside plug socket for you to connect a granny cable to if you bring an extension cable.

The cottage was perfectly clean everywhere, the beds were super comfy and the eggs & prosecco were a lovely additional touch to welcome us there, in addition to the fresh flowers. My friends and I were excited before arriving, as it looked great online but were all in agreement when we arrived that the photos don't even do it justice in comparison to when you're there! There's so much space, and it's not often that I unpack a suitcase for a 2-3 night stay, but we were all immediately unpacking and utilising the storage space in the bedrooms, making ourselves at home for the weekend. And of course, the hot tub was a lovely feature at the property. We hope to visit again in the future in warmer weather so we can spend more time in the garden! Thank you so much to Russell and family for having us, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay. Our only suggestion would be that it would be nice to provide handwash, as we didn't come prepared with one for each of the bathrooms and the kitchen!

The only thing that made me slightly un-easy was the high grassed areas in the garden (not good for our dog as he has no fear and tried to jump off a few times) also not good if you had kids and also whilst the underfloor heating in the property works well it being on a constant 20°c was actually quite warm at points with no real way of controlling that it wasn't comfortable.
