“WOW! The pods at Stiperstones are amazing!”

The are comfortable, luxurious, with all the amenities you need whether you are self catering or eating out and incredibly clean. The hot tub is super, large enough for 4 people so plenty of room for 2 with the most incredible, unimpeded views of the countryside. Nearby there are some great local pubs and literally on your doorstep 500 acres of countryside, which make for great walks. Clean and tidy, an exceptional job in the current climate! The walks around the pod were beautiful and the hot tub was great for after those walks! The pod had everything we needed to make dinner in an evening. The prosecco chilling in the fridge for our arrival was a lovely added touch! Would not hesitate to book again. “AMAZING place”

Stayed here for two nights with my fiancée and had an amazing weekend. The pod was super clean, really cozy and the host was very welcoming and informative before hand. The views from the pod were outstanding and there was a friendly pony on the field next to us. Really couldn’t have asked for anything better. Would highly recommend visiting here !!!

Angie was fab before, during and after our stay and provided all of the information we wouldn't have even thought to ask. The pod is set in a beautiful location, easy to get to and lots of lovely places to walk nearby. The pod was clean and very well equipped, we didn't need half of the stuff we brought along with us as it was already provided. Great place to bring your dog and very well secured to stop them escaping. The hot tub was lovely and where we spent most of our stay. We loved it so much we ended up booking an extra night and are already looking at booking another stay! Thank you very much

“Brilliant Short Break”

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at this pod with our dog. We had a fantastic time despite the weather-lots of rain. ‘Pod’ doesn’t quite do it justice as the space inside and out is generous and you have all the amenities you need in order to be self sufficient whilst there. It’s a lovely, private space-we we’re pretty much unaware of our neighbours. We packed up lots of food and drink (many places still closed due to Coronavirus) and with lovely walks on the doorstep, a beautiful panoramic view, friendly Shetland pony and of course the hot tub, we certainly didn’t feel like we’d missed out on anything. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay here and we certainly hope to return...hopefully when it rains a bit less!

“Brilliant weekend away, didn’t realise it was classed as glamping but with there being no oven it makes sense.”

Lovely little pod, had so many people ask me where we were as the pictures looked so nice! Difficult to find, definitely need a few more signs and directions regarding finding the pod. Its very out the way but is so much better for it. Overall a lovely, romantic and relaxing weekend. Would definitely recommend it to others!

“The pod absolutely exceeded our expectations - it was lovely and clean and provided us with everything we needed for our break away.”

On the day of our arrival, our host contacted us with information and she was fantastic and very accommodating throughout! When we got to the pod, there was a little welcome basket with treats inside which was perfect after our long drive - there were even some snacks for our dog too, which was a very thoughtful addition. The area surrounding the pod was beautifully quiet and we loved the addition of the hot tub! We would 100% recommend this place and would love to stay again!

“There were so many things we enjoyed about our holiday it’s difficult to chose one.”

Our hosts went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and were always on hand if we had any questions about the area or wanted suggestions about where to go. Upon arrival we were met with hot chocolates to make, Prosecco in the fridge and milk which was a lovely touch. Angie had been in contact earlier in the day to let us know when the hot tub would be ready and with more directions to the pod. She could not have been helpful and we’ve already discussed when we could next return!

Loved every minute, 100% exceeded expectations. Angie and Stuart made the Stiperstones pod so welcoming, spacious and cosy. The Prosecco was a nice touch too, everything you needed was there and nothing seemed too much trouble. The hot tub was delightful, very private and relaxing. The views are just stunning, just wish we'd have booked to stay a few more nights. We will definitely be recommending and booking again in the very near future.

Sunrise Pods

Enjoying vast views of the beautiful countryside within the Shropshire Hills AONB, you can find this delightful trio of quirky and unique pods, providing fantastic accommodation for exploring the gorgeous surroundings. Take a break from a fast-paced life into the country with your loved ones and make these cute and compact pods your temporary homes, having one pod for each couple, you can come together to spend the days roaming the hills, and then retreat to your own space when night falls. Each pod has a nearly identical layout accessed via a hobbit-style curved door, including a sitting area with a Smart TV, a modest kitchen space with all the essential appliances along with an intimate dining area, along with excellent WiFi so you can stay connected. To the rear of the pod is the snug double bed tucked in the corner, and a separate shower room to freshen up in. Outside each of the pods is a luxurious hot tub, a welcome sight of warm bubbles after a day of walking to relax you into your evening. The immediate area of the dwelling makes for a tranquil base, with plenty of opportunities for avid walkers; in reach of Mitchell’s Fold Stone Circle across the fields, you can find adventure on your doorstep. For all of your local amenities, the nearby village of Chirbury offers a modest selection of shops and eateries, or for even more excitement, venture into Bishop’s Castle where you will be greeted by historical wonder in the form of listed timber framed buildings, quaint shops and a “House on Crutches”. Walkers can delight in venturing along the Offa’s Dyke Path for some wonderful walking along the Welsh/English border, while heading over the border and into Wales can bring you to the large Norman ruins of Montgomery Castle, the National Trust’s Powis Castle and Garden and the wonderful Welshpool & Llanfair Railway. Set within the hills and valleys of the Shropshire countryside, set apart from the owner’s working farm is Stiperstones Pod, a contemporary holiday home for two, providing a romantically snug spot in the country.

Found in White Grit near to the village of Chirbury, you are perfectly situated to enjoy scenic walks from your doorstep and are within easy reach of the Shropshire Hills AONB.

Enter your little home through the curved hobbit-style door into the open-plan living space; a Smart TV is mounted on the wall opposite the inviting sofa for your entertainment on a quiet night in, while a small dining area sits to one side for a romantic meal for two.

Cook up something special in the small kitchen area which includes an induction hob and a microwave, with a fridge as well.

Drift off in the double bed which is tucked into the far corner where you can cosy up with your loved one, with electric central heating to keep you warm in the colder months.

Finally completing the pod is the en-suite bathroom containing a corner shower with a basin and a WC, so you have all you need.

Best of all, within your own enclosed garden area is a hot tub, so you can star gaze while you relax in the bubbles.

Chirbury is a village in west Shropshire, England situated in the Vale of Montgomery, close to the Wales–England border. In the village is a village hall, a large public house called The Herbert Arms, and a post office, which is also the village shop. Montgomery is a short drive away and is popular with tourists. The town has a delightful selection of individual shops and a variety of pubs and restaurants, including the Michelin star restaurant, The Checkers, a fabulous way to make your holiday truly special. A few miles to the south is the historic market town of Bishop's Castle, an excellent place for a day or night out with its excellent pubs, live music and festivals throughout the year. A charming destination for a holiday.
