We love everything about the bungalow and its location. It’s our 6th stay in the area and it’s perfect for what we want to do - lovely walks, lovely local pub, not too far from other places, nice quiet area and fabulous hosts. We had another great week stay and even fell lucky with the weather again!

Superbly equipped, spotlessly clean & a great place to chill, eat out on the patio in the lovely garden and take in the surrounding beauty that this part of North Wales has to offer. The river valley walk (from the local pub) is a delight and recommended, as is Harlech Beach. Don’t miss Bistro Bermo in Barmouth, fabulous food but book well in advance. Annwen (the owner) checked in to ensure all was good as well which underlines her approach to renting out a wonderful house. Reminder that there is a rapid charger for electric cars too. Strongly recommend this rental.

  • "Return visit to this beautiful modern stylish spotlessly clean bungalow."

Very peaceful location. My sister and I enjoyed a week stay with elderly parents ideal for them as all lower level. En-suite for each bedroom. The beds were really comfortable. Kitchen well equipped everything we needed for our stay. We sat out in the beautiful garden. The owner greeted us to ensure we had everything we needed. My dad was taken ill and the owner visited again to make sure he was ok. We were left a welcome pack with bara brith crisps biscuits tea and fresh milk in the fridge. The driveway was great for off road parking and although we didn’t need it there was an electric car charger outside the property. I would highly recommend this property not far from the beach pub shop and Barmouth Harlech not too far away. .

This was the by far the best property we have stayed in and we regularly stay in self catering properties. It had everything we needed and was well appointed and spotlessly clean! The owner checked we had everything we needed once we arrived, offering help on local places to eat etc. Beds were very comfortable and lovely showers. The welcome pack was delicious, with milk and local treats for us to enjoy. Neighbour also very friendly and helpful. Perfect location for visiting the local area. Thank you for a lovely holiday! Look forward to staying again.

  • "Lovely garden very peaceful, nice helpful neighbour also with a pretty garden."

Enjoyed the large TV can even get Netflix on the channels. The recliner chairs were very relaxing, but unfortunately we found that for my elderly mother no space around the seating area to get through without a lot of difficulty. The bed my mother had was most uncomfortable she felt that she was slipping out of it all the time, my bed was okay not great, but my biggest concern was the feet as it stood right outside of the Base which I hit twice I found that quite a hazard to be addressed. When we arrived at the property the intercom system I could not work, I think it needs to be an easier clearer system, maybe push button type! I had to call the Owner in the end to help me gain entry to the property. Kitchen had everything one would need, but again instead of such a large kitchen give more space to the lounge seating area.

Thank you for you feedback, I’m glad you enjoyed the garden which is really pretty at this time of year , sorry you found the beds not to your liking , they were both new last year & have mattress toppers for added comfort as a comfortable night sleep is really important for our guests , this is the first negative feedback I’ve received , we had discussed the bed height with you prior to your arrival to accommodate your elderly mother including the space for the raised toilet seat & her walking aid , also the space between the seating areas does allow room to walk between each sofa & out through the French doors into the garden , I’m sorry you didn’t find this adequate . The key safe -Sykes had given you the code prior to your arrival ,this is just storage for the guest keys it’s not an intercom to open the door, which I did explain to you when you called me on your arrival, I’m sorry you had difficulties ,thank you for your feedback . Two little things which would help to keep things clean and stop any rings on the furniture: some coasters in the bedrooms and a mat by the French doors to wipe your feet when you come in from the laundry room. But thanks again for a lovely stay.

The kitchen has everything you need for catering at home and Tesco deliver right to the door. Located nearby are some beautiful woodland and hill walks, the beach is 20 mins walk away and it is only a short drive to other beaches and tourist locations. We found so much to do within an hours drive, for those who prefer the train the station is only 15 mins walk away. We will definitely be recommending this property to friends and family. My only observation was I could not find a shaver point for charging shavers or toothbrushes, if you need a charging point bring a mains plug adapter. One week before the booking we had contact details for the owner come through, I was able to text to leave the instructions for a twin bed set up in advance and all was sorted before we arrived. We had a really nice welcome pack on arrival.

Thank you very much for your feedback . sorry to hear you didn’t find the shaver points but there is one in each bathroom - under the sink unit , I will arrange to put a note in the information pack for future guests , hope to welcome you back again soon. Property Owner
