  • "Trevonnen is a modern spacious property in a stunning location on the banks of the river Wye."

The property was very clean and has been fitted out to a very high spec. Having said this the property had some issues such as loose toilet seats, a loose kitchen tap and loose door glass in the log burner. We also found that all 3 frying pans in the kitchen were unusable and that there was no bread knife. Having read previous customer reviews and comments in the visitors book at the property it is clear that some of these issues have been reported previously. It is a great shame that this wonderful property is let down by issues that could so easily have been resolved. I did contact the owner prior to writing this review however they did not respond to my message.

  • "Toilets seats are a bit loose, main bedroom bed bit small, also could of done with larger towels but the rest of the accommodation can't fault it."

Thanks for sharing this great property.

  • "Very nice place only down fall was the trees over the river blocked the view of the hills but nice house and patio"

  • "The property itself was lovely and very well appointed but feel like they dropped the ball a little with us."

No welcome pack on arrival. Bedding and towels were in a dirty pile in the laundry room when we arrived, despite contacting Sykes we had to wash them ourselves. Couldn't contact the owner and Sykes kept asking if we needed help but couldn't rectify the issue. No TV in the bedroom as advertised. Toilet seat broken in en suite, also mentioned in a review in June. We had a lovely holiday. The property is fantastic and in a lovely area. The owners and Sykes need to attend to the finer details.

It was modern and well maintained which made for a very comfortable stay. Also extremely warm and very well equipped for our needs. We would use this property again without hesitation.

  • "Far more modern than we would usually go for but it was perfect for what we wanted."

Greeted with chocolates and wine...what a lovely welcome. The house was spacious and comfortable and although it is on a main road, we did not hear road noise. Beautiful location with amazing river view and a fine collection of birds to watch in the mornings.
