  • "Fantastic cottage in a peaceful corner of Mid Wales."

Beautifully equipped with everything you could possibly need. A bit remote but we knew this before we booked. A pleasant drive into Aberystwyth and a great little pub a 10 minute drive away open for food Thursday to Sunday. Lovely riverside walk in walking distance from the cottage. Wonderful scenery whichever direction you drive.

  • "Willow Cottage is well situated about 7 miles from Aberystwyth with easy access to both coast and interior."

The house is spotlessly clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were excellent. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful but not intrusive. We would certainly return to both house and area again.

  • "The cottage is delightful, set in a wooded estate with its own garden complete with chairs and table for relaxation."

Extremely well equipped with a range cooker and good info about a local pub who brought us an amazing Sunday lunch and a Chinese restaurant who brought an evening meal all the way from Aberystwyth. There is a small library of very readable books, plenty of qwerky additions like cat and dog mugs, (the illustrations) and a chicken inspired milk jug. The property is exceptionally well maintained and very clean and welcoming. The owner lives on site and is so helpful, even printing a map for our return home! I cannot recommend this cottage highly enough.

  • "Lovely well equipped cottage in a beautiful part of Wales."

Plenty of places to go such as beaches at Aberystwyth or new Quay or Twyn by car. Lots of walks for all locally or further afield. Cottage is comfortable and has everything you need. Nice log burner for cold nights. We went early June during covid restrictions. Cottage was very clean for us. Some nice pubs to eat if happy to drive. Superstore near Aberystwyth if eating in. Best to book restaurants in advance during these restrictions. Would definitely go to this cottage again. Thank you to Lindsey.

  • "A lovely touch was the welcome tray with a packet of ground coffee, milk and cookies."

The recommendation of the cycle path to Aberystwyth was very helpful in planning our holiday. I appreciated the texts from the owner prior to, during and after our trip. The only thing that didn't work so well for us was amending the heating when it got chilly...the control unit was complex and appeared to be fixed. Overall I would recommend this cottage without reservation.

  • "Great service, really pleased with everything."

The best equipped kitchen we have ever seen in a holiday cottage. Stanning walks and cycling trails. Saw red kites every day! It was not clear from the website that our cottage is part of a complex of three cottages. A plan of the complex on the web page would be helpful.
