They even took in our Tesco delivery when we were delayed because of a road blockage. A lovely clean residence with every facility for a comfortable stay. The welcome basket and Easter egg were much appreciated. Close to the beach and railway station. We would have no hesitation in booking again. Jayne Every

The property is beautifully decorated and a lovely place to stay it is so spotlessly clean. The parking spaces were great and meant such a very short walk into the village with shops and pubs. "Well equipped, very comfortable duplex apartment."
Lovely decorative touches and furniture were much appreciated. The owners have obviously put a lot of thought and imagination into preparing this apartment. An extensive information pack is provided giving good information about the apartment and local area. The location of Pencartref is ideal to explore lovely Aberdyfi and access beach, sand dunes and coastal paths. Good pubs, shops and restaurants a few minutes walk away. The train station for the line along the coast is within easy walking distance and gives lovely views and access to west coast towns and coastal resorts. Three couples had a wonderful week in Pencartref exploring and walking in this interesting area. The three bathrooms and comfortable beds were much appreciated! We thoroughly recommend this holiday home.

"We have just had a fantastic week staying in Pencartref."
The owner has done a fantastic job refurbishing the property to create this apartment. It was immaculate and beautifully furnished. The beds were extremely comfortable, the showers were fantastic and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. And what a bonus having off road parking too!!! It was a pleasure to meet the owner and his partner (who live on the ground floor of the property). They were both very welcoming and friendly and provided a basket of goodies which was a lovely surprise. Pencartref is in a peaceful area of Aberdovey and yet only a 5 minute walk to the pubs/restaurants. The train station is a 3 minute walk and the bus stop is right outside the apartment. We used both the train and the buses to link us to villages/towns in order for us to walk the coastal path. During our week we walked the coast path from Fairbourne to Borth which we highly recommend. There is a good choice of pubs/restaurants/cafe's in the village and an excellent fish and chip shop. There is also a small convenience store 3 minutes walk from the apartment. We had brilliant weather and didn't want to leave. Highly recommend and would happily return - Mike and Jen
