“A clean, cosy, comfortable and we'll equipped cottage in a beautiful setting!”

Rural setting in the owners courtyard and farmland surrounded by hills, fields and sheep. Just yards from the farm entrance is a footpath off the beaten track to more lovely views and countryside. The owners were very helpful and friendly and know the area well. Couldn't be more accommodating! Whilst being discreet and ensuring you have your privacy and comfort. Lots to see and do in the area especially if you like to explore the countryside, lakes/reservoirs and woods. Not too far from local amenities to stock up on supplies for your stay. On arrival there was fresh milk, ample tea and Welshcakes.. very welcome after travelling! Not to mention the fresh flowers.. nice touch Good WiFi and TV signal. Would definitely visit again! Very comfy bed! Bonus! Also would recommend to others.. Thanks to Chris & Helen and their lovely family for looking after us so well!!

“The cottage was just right for the two of us and in a lovely setting overlooking the village.”

Everything was clean and tidy and the owner came to greet us shortly after we arrived. We would make a couple of suggestions - to replace the sofa which we found extremely uncomfortable (and it is looking a bit tired) and also to add more to the kitchen utensils as there was no slotted spoon or ladle to serve veg from saucepans and no wooden spoon to stir sauces. The kitchen knives were also very blunt and there was no knife sharpener. If these items were replaced it would get full marks.

The family were very helpful cottage was very nice and comtable will not recamend this company to any body due to the booking mixup we got a email telling us that our holiday had been cancelled because of change of owership, we asked if we could change to another holiday and was told we could but would loose our deposit on the cottage in wales when we asked if the holiday was still booked we were told that every thing was fine and the email was a misstake so we had a good holiday but were not happy with the service when we booked we didnt get a email telling us that the holiday was still booked only findin out when we tried to book a new holiday because of the email

“This cottage is in a wonderfully scenic valley.”

The weather was kind, so we were able to eat outside on the patio for every meal, and watch red kites and buzzards overhead. In the evening, we could see the farmers bringing in the hay across the valley. The cottage is suitable for a couple. The bed is a standard double (4ft 6in). The kitchen is equipped with a range of kitchen equipment if you want to cook for yourself. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.

“The weather was not great to say the least.”

How ever the cottage was excellent, clean comfortable and modern. The farmers family were extremely friendly and welcoming, making up for the weather conditions. Local area was amazing with lots to do in the way of places to visit and the local people were so friendly. A great holiday dispite the weather. Many thanks to Helen and her family.
