    “Beach Heaven for two legs and four”
    As those before us said, the location is perfect. ...
    As those before us said, the location is perfect. 5 minutes to the beautiful beach with the dog. A beach big of golden sand to satisfy a walk or run for as far as you want and then some. Back in time for breakfast at one of the local cafe's. A run out to a various attractions within 30 minutes. Back for a second beach walk, before dinner at one of the local restraunts / pubs. Slow down, enjoy the company and enjoy your four legged friends. Most importantly disregard any weather forecasts, Aberdovey has its own micro-climate, with a weather window on the worst days. The accomodation was generous, spacious, with character and views, with a small garden patio perfect for a drink in the setting sun.

The property

Centrally based with fantastic elevated sea views in the hugely sought-after seaside village of Aberdovey.

Spacious, light and airy terrace property perched seconds away from the village centre and less than a minute from the beach.

This superb house is a perfect base for families and groups of friends to enjoy and explore the local countryside and various watersport activities that can be found in the village.

Set over three floors, there are four bedrooms, three on the first floor, including two with sea views and one with en-suite facilities and there’s one bedroom on the second floor, which has an en-suite basin and WC.

On the ground floor is a galley-style kitchen which opens onto the patio, from where amazing seaside views across the rooftops can be seen.

Leading from the kitchen is a large sitting room with dining area, where you can sit and enjoy breakfast before heading off to enjoy the miles of sandy beaches that can be found in the area.

Outside, you can sit on the patio, relax in the sun and marvel at the views from the garden or maybe catch one of the renowned sunsets, as the sun dips behind the horizon.

Aberdovey village is situated at the point where the estuary meets the beautiful Cardigan Bay, therefore is able to offer gently sloping sandy beaches and watersports, and there's also a championship golf course, small boutique-style shops and eateries available.

The area is surrounded by stunning views and walks, you can explore the four miles of sand dune backed beaches that stretch up to the northern town of Twywn, from where you can take a trip on the Tal-y-Llyn railway, or walk to the top of the majestic mountains that rise from the estuary.

You are ideally placed to explore the Snowdonia National Park with its ever-changing scenery, with the whole area offering a huge selection of outdoor activities, such as pony trekking, watersports, fishing, climbing and golf.

This wonderful cottage is the perfect base for spending quality time with family or friends, whatever the occasion maybe.

The village is often referred to as “an artist's paradise” with its pastel-coloured cottages, small shops, inns and excellent restaurants which specialise in local seafood, all helping to create a relaxed welcoming atmosphere. Aberdovey boasts some of the finest beaches in Britain, with four miles of golden sand-dune-backed shoreline running north to Tywyn, home of the world-famous Talyllyn Steam Railway and crab fishing. The beaches are popular with sunbathers, swimmers, surfers and fishermen while the estuary attracts a wide range of watersports enthusiasts. The peaks of the Cader Idris and Aran Fawddwy ranges are within easy reach and are complemented by the charm of the Dovey and Dysynni valleys nearby.
