Well equipped kitchen, with an eye for detail throughout the house. The games barn is a great addition and the kids loved it. The welcome basket was a lovely touch, and we highly recommended this property. Beds super comfortable.

What a beautiful farmhouse with the most homely furnishings, comfortable beds and beautiful bathrooms. The barn gamesroom was just fantastic - so much more than we expected. It provided all the entertainment needed for a rainy day and we spent every night in there too!

The owners have thought of everything to make your stay as enjoyable and as fulfilling as possible all in beautiful surroundings. We went on some lovely local walks, the children loved the play area and the games room is a real bonus. • "Pen Bont Home Farm provided us (family of 4 + 1 dog) with everything we needed, and much, much more."

We've stayed in many properties over the years, but the attention to detail in this place is second to none. The location is great to explore central Wales, with multiple walks on your doorstep. Pen Y Fan national trust carpark is just a short drive south. The cleanliness was top draw, the amenities a real hit, particularly the games room and the WiFi throughout the property and games room etc, was excellent. All in all, a truly magnificent stay, helped by the unseasonable weather of course

  • "A stunning property in wonderful surroundings."

We had a fabulous family holiday to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. The lovely, friendly owners have thought of everything you could possibly want and more. There were lots of lovely little touches like pet towels and feeding bowls in the utility room, and a lovely welcome basket on arrival, and books and board games in the study, even tea towels in the kitchen The games room is amazing and has everything you could need for a rainy day. We had a fun time exploring the grounds and the dog and us particularly enjoyed the stream, several games of 'pooh sticks' were played. Thank you so much for a memorable stay, we will definitely be back.

With a children's play area and a large games room, this home is ideal for a family gathering or a special occasion.

Inside, the home is beautifully equipped with character features and plenty of home comforts for a relaxing self-catered stay.

The ground floor is home to a spacious kitchen/diner, a lovely space for the designated chef to show off their skills while the family awaits a feast at the dining table for ten.

From here, the sitting room offers a space to relax in front of the woodburning stove, while the study provides space to break away and unwind, should you need it, or even do some office work as a printer is provided.

Upstairs, four tastefully decorated bedrooms welcome you to sleep after a busy day of exploring; two super-king-size beds with a zip/link feature mean you have a variety of sleeping options, along with the twin room and a family room, both of which have handy en-suite shower rooms.

Outside, the garden makes a fantastic place for hosting in the warmer months, with its barbecue for alfresco cooking and children's play area to keep the little ones entertained.

When it's time to explore, make your way into Brecon or Builth Wells; in Builth Wells, treat your loved ones to a meal at Teulu Restaurant at Caer Beris Manor or perhaps a more casual bite at the Cosy Corner Bistro, whilst in Brecon there are a variety of places to eat or take away including The Hop In recommended for tapas and craft beers, and Felinfach Griffin an excellent gastro pub.
