The house itself is very well presented with just about everything you need for a short stay. There is internet if you need it and mobile reception is adequate too.
It is on two levels with a spiral staircase - the stairs might be daunting for some but you can always nip out the kitchen door and come back in through the front. It would not however suit someone whose mobility is limited.
The location is ideal, being on the edge of town, so it's quiet, but only a short walk to shops pubs and restaurants with which Dolgellau is well served.
The road entrance could be a bit daunting, visibility is approximately zero, the two big mirrors are vital, you just have to remember that, to get visibility to your right you use the left mirror and vice versa.

He is friendly and personable, don't be put off by the thorough Health and Safety briefing - he's a lawyer so he takes that sort of stuff very seriously. Once thats over he relaxes visibly, there are guide books and maps aplenty to help you plan your stay. .
This would be suited either as a base to set out and explore the many attractions of North Wales or as a bolt hole, to just sit by the river and chill.
