Accuracy of the listing

  • "The reason I felt the accuracy of the listing was not totally accurate was because it was actually much nicer than I expected!"

The views from the front bay windows in particular were stunning - a wonderful surprise. Also, the rooms were bigger than expected.

  • "First time booking with Sykes, simple and straight forward, everything explained and kept up to date."

Apartment was very clean and well equipped. Brilliant base with a beautiful sandy beach on our doorstep. Lovely walks. Beautiful views from apartment which aren’t shown on pics. Comfy beds and we all slept great. Difficult to find a place with all single beds in twin rooms as although we are all family none of us there with partners. We will definitely use Sykes again and would definitely stay at apartment again. From booking to arrival and throughout holiday we would highly recommend Sykes and a stay at apartment 1, 10 west end parade. Could not fault anything about our whole experience.

Great spot for families with children as the beach is just across a reasonably quite road. Met the owners briefly who are very pleasant as are the neighbours.

  • "The accommodation is spacious, clean and well kitted out."

The location is great and the views are spectacular. The owner is friendly and extremely helpful. I stayed with elderly family members and they really appreciated having a bedroom on the same floor as the lounge/kitchen/diner (e.g. no stairs to navigate), with the added benefit of an en-sure shower room. The property would benefit from having a couple of easy chairs (instead of the benches provided) in the lounge bay window looking out to sea. There are lovely flat walks around the area and it's only a 10-15 minute walk to a well stocked Spar store in town. A very quiet area, ideal for families. We always managed to find a parking space on the road outside the property. Note, parking opposite is chargeable. We will definitely return.

  • "Fabulous location right on the sea front, very large and spacious, kitchen well stocked, large table to get everyone round for games and dinner."

Short walk into Pwllheli. Easy check in and out. Free parking right out the front. Good communication from the host. Will use again!

  • "The apartment was amazing, clean and comfy beds, location was amazing and parking during September was not an issue, maybe during the height of summer this could be an issue though."

If I was to complain, it would be about the bins. There were guidelines on what to do with the bins, what day to put out etc.. which we followed. However on arrival the 2 large wheelie bins were full, which resulted in us not being able to dispose of our rubbish fully, as we would have liked. We recycled as we always do. There was a note that we could dispose of our rubbish at the local rubbish centre, but I am sure you can understand we didn’t want to do this during our break away. The bins didn’t get collected on the noted day either, so on us leaving they were very full with lids a jar! We would defiantly stay again.

Many thanks for your positive comments. We're very sorry you had a problem with the rubbish bins. We investigated the issue and the Council apologised, admitting that they'd failed to empty our bins. The matter is now resolved! And just to reassure you about the parking - it's never an issue, not even at the height of summer. Thank you again for your valuable feedback. Property Owner

  • "This is the first time we have holidayed in an apartment, we usually stay in a caravan and it was a great experience."

The apartment was very spacious and having the use of a dishwasher and washing machine made life a lot easier. The location was brilliant, just across the road to the beach and within walking distance to the town. I would definitely stay here again and will be recommending it to family and friends.

  • "We were a family party aged between 5 years old and 90 years old."

We all thoroughly enjoyed the holiday. It was a great location just a few metres away from the beach. There was also a huge amount to do suit each of our tastes within a few miles drive. It was a real benefit having a bathroom per bedroom, so no queues in the morning! The kitchen and living room area were really well set out and a sociable space. Overall we all had a great holiday and we're thinking of booking again for next year.

  • "We are a group of eight who meet up twice a year for walking holidays."

The apartment has been renovated to a high standard and was clean comfortable and well equipped. The property has four bathrooms and this was particularly appreciated by our large group. We liked the sea views and accessibility to the beach. We found Pwllheli to be an ideal location for our walking holiday due to its central location on the LLeyn. Are only disappointment was that we couldn't stay longer.
