  • "Spacious property with very comfortable beds!"

Well equipped kitchen and lovely modern bathrooms. The sea views are amazing and i could sit on the sofa in the bedroom window and watch the waves all day. The nintendo wii kept the kids entertained after the little one had gone to bed too. Only suggestion I would have is that a proper dining table and chairs would have been nice as its difficult to get in and out of the sofas around the low table. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you for hosting us.

Thank you so much for your positive feedback. We would love to host you again soon in our beloved family home. It is heartwarming when guests love it as much as we do. I believe the unobstructed sea views from your beds and all south facing windows including close proximity to the beach are indeed second to none! We brought up 3 boisterous athlete boys there on the beach! Thank you for your suggestion I will revisit the dining table and chair idea. We removed the original oak dining chairs and the brass castors off the original Victorian dining table to fit the couches because dinner would take hours to make and minutes to be devoured by the boys, who then dashed into the big tv living room to play nintendo wii etc leaving us parents sitting on hard wooden chairs haha! This way we could enjoy a leisurely supper on comfortable surroundings with our own tv too when we finished. Please feel welcome to come back to make more memories at Wavecrest. The holiday house was like a home from home for us, being a family of six, we were comfortably sprawled out, amazing facilities including the huge tub and wet room, beds were comfortable and the house itself was great with amazing views across the sea, ideal location, Jackie was attentive and left us a few treats to enjoy, would thoroughly recommend

We appreciate your gracious feedback. It is both heartwarming and fulfilling when guests have such a wonderful time making memories whilst staying in our beloved family home. I hope we can host your next holiday in Pwllheli soon. Kind Regards Amanda (Owner) Property Owner

  • "We had a good experience booking the holiday on line."

The accommodation was exactly as described. Good space, large rooms, well stocked kitchen. The location is superb, right by the beach in Pwllheli and within easy walking distance of the town centre. The listing makes it clear there is no washing machine which is a significant negative about the property and although the laundrette is just around the corner we did not want to spend our holiday in a laundrette; it was self service only. It would assist if there was at least a clothes airer to dry beach towels/swim wear on. The outdoor space at the front is lovely and a good place to sit and enjoy the views.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, we are glad you enjoyed your stay at Wavecrest. We are sorry there is not currently a washing machine at Wavecrest, this is something we are thinking of adding in the future, the launderette close to the property is very good and fast. We do have clothes airers available in a cupboard in the property, we also has a Victorian kitchen maid ceiling airer outside the wet room, I am sorry you missed this. Property Owner

  • "When we arrived at the house there was no key for us but within half an hour this was sorted."

When we entered it was clear that parts of the house were not totally clean. The bathrooms appeared to be clean enough. The one bed did not have a mattress protector which is unforgivable. We swept the floor downstairs and found some beads, coco pops and an empty crisp packet behind one of the settees. The dishwasher didn’t work until the 5th day. In both bathrooms the extractor fans did not appear to be working therefore every surface in the dark and dingy downstairs shower room became very wet after someone had showered. Also there is a sign in the downstairs shower room saying ‘Please ensure bath mat is at the entrance of the shower cubicle to avoid leaks for the flat below’... The bedrooms are spacious and most of the beds comfortable. The dining table set up is not ideal as it is a low table with settees, not too easy for my elderly parents! The whole house needs a coat of paint and some tlc. The outside area is a nice space but needs weeding and some care taken with the plants in pots. The position of the house and the views are stunning with the beach right opposite. The cul de sac is quiet with hardly any traffic.

Thank you do much for taking the time to review your stay at Wavecrest, feedback is very important to us. I am sorry there were some cleanliness issues during your stay, if you had made us aware of this we would have endeavoured to have this rectified as soon as possible. It can be difficult to find trades-persons to visit the property on the same day, i'm happy we were able to get the dishwasher working for you. We have now employed a new cleaning and management team at Wavecrest. We are so glad you enjoyed the view at Wavecrest, we are so lucky to be in such a beautiful area of North Wales. Wavecrest is currently undergoing a total renovation both inside and on the exterior, we feel confident guests will love the new look of our cherished family home. Property Owner
