    “This house is BEAUTIFUL.”

The photographs really don't do the finishing of the house justice.

The photographs really don't do the finishing of the house justice. It was the most perfect place to celebrate New Year with ample room to relax in the house and so much walking to do nearby. The scenery is just STUNNING and makes you realise how beautiful Wales really is. We wanted for nothing, and couldn't recommend this place highly enough - we'll be back for sure.

The property

Nestled within welsh countryside, surrounded by fields and with access to the Shropshire Hills AONB across the Wales-England border, is Whitehall Dairy.

This wonderful barn conversion is teeming with character, allowing its half-timbered structure, exposed brickwork and rustic furnishings to make the ideal holiday home.

It is perfect for that well deserved break with the whole family.

Enjoy this immaculate interior, designed with love and attention to detail.

Gather together in the sitting area on a quiet, cosy evening and marvel at the fabulous views across a patchwork of green.

You can also see excellent views of Snowdon, Cader Idris and Berwyn Mountains.

The floor-to-ceiling windows and the feature of the extended skylight allow plenty of light to flood the whole house.

A woodburner sits proudly in the lounge/dining area warming those winter nights, as you engage in conversations of the day's events.

Open-plan in design, the kitchen comes fully equipped, elevated by the fabulous range cooker, with cream coloured storage units.

You have the choice of five well-presented bedrooms for when the night draws in.

Three double rooms rest under the eaves of the top floor, making the most of the views.

Three of the bedrooms even have en-suite facilities, making your stay as comfortable as possible.

Outside, enjoy the garden that wraps itself around the exterior, with patio areas and a barbecue, for alfresco dining in the summer.

Although you are right in the heart of walking country, nearby is the village of Llandyssil, with a local pub and bakery.

There are plenty of more villages and towns with further amenities, scattered about the region.

Montgomery is just a mile outside the border of England, with the ruins of its 13th century castle and a variety of pubs and restaurants, making it popular among tourists.

Pay a visit to the many pubs, cafes and restaurants available in the area, and enjoy the experience with your loved ones.

At the castle, there is a host of productions put on by touring theatre groups, which you can enjoy in the summer months.

Venture up to Snowdonia National Park for many outdoor activities to suit the whole family, or hop over to the Shropshire Hills for glorious walking opportunities and fabulous scenery.
