Glen Dye Cottages

Two beautiful cottages set in the stunning Glen Dye Estate, close to the village of Banchory. Both properties have been designed to the highest standard with a charming blend of modern and traditional. Both cottages sit within a stone's throw of open hill ground and spectacular walks up Clachnaben which is paradise for dog walkers and outdoor enthusiasts. For additional hiking and biking, there is the Scolty Hill, situated 11 miles from the property, at the top of which you will find a 20m tall monument and spectacular views. Local shops, pub's and cafes can be found in Banchory, a mere 15 minute drive. Both properties are a tranquil retreat, perfect for a relaxing holiday with loved ones in Scotland.

No.4 Steading Cottage is an idyllic property, set within a stunning rural location within the Glen Dye Estate, near the town of Banchory.

Throughout the property the interior design has been completed with a contemporary style, along with a blend of luxury finishes, providing a fantastic base for a family getaway to the Aberdeenshire area.

The ground floor hosts an open-plan kitchen with a spacious dining area, completed with modern, sleek units to contrast beautifully with the dark wood, traditional-style dining table.

At the heart of the home is a woodburning stove, within an elegantly decorated sitting room, completed with comfortable seating and a TV, ideal for snuggling up for a cosy day in Scotland.

The ground floor is completed by two contemporary-style bedrooms, one posing twin beds and the other hosting a spacious double bed.

Upstairs, you will find additional bedrooms; a double bedroom and a single bedroom, finished with sloping ceilings with skylight windows to allow natural light to fill the rooms.

BANCHORY

Aberdeen 15 miles.

Banchory is an attractive Scottish town lying approximately 15 miles west of Aberdeen on the banks of the River Dee. It is a vibrant and well serviced town and nearby Crathes Castle is a popular tourist attraction and is considered to be one of the most superb castles in Scotland. The castle is open all year and owned by the National Trust for Scotland. Banchory boasts its own golf club with a driving range, mountain bike trails and a skatepark near the centre of the town. Of course, the River Dee offers excellent fishing opportunities and permits can be obtained locally. The pleasant high street has a supermarket and a fascinating mixture of shops where finding that special holiday souvenir will be easy.
