This was because the owners clearly VALUE their customers, have PRIDE in the service they offer and UPHOLD these values/standards with all their bookings. The property is impeccably clean and more than well catered for. We arrived to find a selection of goodies, milk & dog treats which was really kind. The owner even came to the property and took the bin out for collection and then subsequently came back and returned the bin to the garden. We would have done this happily but they really wanted to facilitate our holiday experience. We would have stayed 2 weeks quite happily. We have stayed at many self catering properties and this one exceeds them all by far. Reviewed by ClaireAug 2019 "Lovely place in a great location." Town facilities with normal shops and takeaways a short drive away or a nice walk. There is also a supermarket for groceries and fuel etc. The owners have thought of everything, unfortunately we were unable to meet them on arriving at the property but they were only a text away and told us not to hesitate in contacting them if we needed anything. They even asked us what milk and bread we wanted getting in. Will definitely be back and would give this property a first class reference, even the neighbours were friendly and even gave us details of a lovely walk from Portknockie along the beach to Cullen, where we obtained a delicious ice cream - well worth a visit.
