“2 Wee Kalf was such a comfortable and lovely place to stay for Christmas 2018!”

We loved every minute of our stay and will defo be returning again in the future. The cottage was so central to Dufftown with all local amenities, but ever so quiet and peaceful, you would not think you were so close to town! Lots of local walks from the town its self and plenty of friendly places to visit. Just a short drive away and you can be on the coast!

About the location

DUFFTOWN

Elgin 20 miles; Aviemore 46 miles; Aberdeen 50 miles: Inverness 56 miles.

Dufftown is situated in the heart of Speyside in north east Scotland and is a thriving and lively small town. It is also right on the Malt Whisky Trail and the old saying goes, “Rome was built on seven hills, Dufftown stands on seven stills”. There are now nine distilleries in the area so a spot of whisky tasting is a must, unless you are the driver of course! Apart from the distilleries it is easy to access the world famous salmon fishing of the Strathspey area and permits can be obtained locally. Dufftown has an 18-hole golf course complete with breathtaking scenery and guests are made very welcome. In the winter months staying in the area provides great value for skiers and snowboarders as it is only a 50 minute drive to the Lecht ski slopes and Aviemore is an hour or so away, plus The Cabrach is a ‘Dark Sky Designated Area’ which is ideal for astronomers.

Any bookings which are not a standard Holiday Let need to be discussed with the owner prior to booking.
