"Clean modern impressive house in a quiet location south of Forres."
From the pick up of the keys there was no hassle and everything was as per listed. The facilities are good the beds are super comfy. Our dog loved the space to roam the garden in the mornings. There are plenty of idyllic places to walk to if you venture out. Randolph’s Leap is just a mile away and is stunning and there’s Logie Steading which provides a nice cafe and some quaint retail therapy only a mile and a half away. For groceries there is a Co-op 7 miles to the north just as you enter Forres. The Hosts live next door but they don’t bother you or watch over you (and believe me I’ve had some watch over me in the past to the point of distraction) and communication should you need to is good, my son forgot his AirPods and I messaged the host and they were found and everything has been sorted. So yes, we’ll be back. Superb.
"We had a lovely stay."
The property was beautiful. Everything that we needed. Managed to travel easily to places we wanted to see. Very relaxed holiday in such a lovely place. No issues and would definitely go again. Highly recommended
"A lovely house in a lovely setting."
Everything you need to have a relaxing holiday. The dogs loved the garden and we humans had a great week. Thanks
"We really enjoyed staying at the property."
It was well equipped and very comfortable. The one minor issue we would report in here is very poor water pressure in the upper level of the property. Other than that it was perfect.
"Perfect for family and dogs."
Well equipped and comfortable.
"A lovely house - with everything you need."
Very well situated to enjoy the area. Would definitely recommend a stay at The Beeches.
"We visited this property over Christmas 2021 when we arrived the owner had us a beautiful home dressed for Christmas with everything we needed the location is absolutely fantastic quite and everybody are very friendly the area is great for walks and you are still close to towns for a bit of retail therapy we are most likely to go back and I will be telling all my friends to visit this beautiful property and area."
Thanks to the owners who made use welcome and also made our Christmas.
"Great holiday, would definitely return."

"EVERYTHING ABOUT THE HOUSE WAS WONDERFUL."
WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. ONLY ONE DRAWBACK, THE WI FI IS VERY POOR. APART FROM THAT WE HAD A GREAT HOLIDAY.
"Lovely location to relax."
We could not have asked for better accommodation!
"Lovely clean well-equipped house."
Plenty of space for us as a family to enjoy. Some nice short walks to go on nearby with the grandkids. We had a great week at The Beeches & would be happy to book a holiday there again.
"Fantastic house & garden."
Very well appointed & comfortable. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a large holiday house. We loved it!
"The cottage was beautiful and cleaned thoroughly."
"Beautiful house, immaculately clean with everything we could possibly want."
Great communication throughout. Lots of room for us , our kayaks and bikes with safe of the road parking. The area is fantastic with the Dava Way really close for a great long distance cycle and the River Findhorn walking distance for an exhilarating swim. We chose the house as it is ideally placed to visit family. It is the nicest holiday cottage I have ever visited.
"Peace and quiet ."
We arrived just as everything changed re the corona outbreak . Everything was as it should be with liquid soap already in place at every sink . Weather was good for this time of year .
"The Beeches was a warm, welcoming and comfy holiday home, that was very clean and well equipped."
We were met on arrival by the owner, who gave us a brief rundown of the property. We were also left with full contact details, should we need to contact them, for anything, during our stay. We left feeling refreshed after an enjoyable week in January, in the Highlands. We would definitely return to The Beeches for a future holiday, without hesitation.
"The Pictures are just the tip of the iceberg, lovely cottage in a very quiet area, a short drive to shops and local towns, longer drive to things like Lock Ness."
Beautiful area with some stunning walks. Friendly Owners are on hand to help with any questions during the holiday and to supply a new kettle in under 30 minutes should the need arise, like it did on ours! The guess book spoke for itself, people returning time and again to enjoy. We were a family of 5, 3 generations for an 80th Birthday surprise for mum, we all enjoyed the Cottage, beds we really comfortable everything was clean and tidy, home from home. Thanks Kim and Allan for a wonderful holiday
