3 spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds and a nice spacious living area which included a very well equipped kitchen. Location was perfect for exploring the east coast around Nairn, Loch Ness and the whole of the Cairngorms National Park. Good walks from the door as well. Shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Everything perfectly met our needs. Thank you.

  • "Beautifully presented cottage, lovely furnishings and equipped with everything you need for your stay."

Received a warm welcome on arrival and a comprehensive "welcome" pack had been left for us which was gratefully received. The cottage is located only 5 minute walk from the town but is secluded and quiet with a well kept outside space and garden to sit out in. Our second stay here and should we return to the area wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. The owner had taken every precaution in respect of the Covid situation including thoughtfully adding Netflix in absence of usual dvds etc.

  • "The cottage was perfect for our family holiday."

The open plan downstairs was ideal for our toddlers, giving them space to play & always in our eyeline. The whole house was perfectly clean. The kitchen was really well equipped, as was the utility room, & had everything we could have wanted. The cottage is just a stones throw from the forest & a quick walk to the main street. We would definitely stay again when we are back in the area.

It is in a quiet and secluded location, just 200 yards from forest walks that lead to the Spey river walk and the Speyside Way - also good for our dog and allowed me a break from driving. There was a nice welcome pack. Highly recommended.

  • "Bruach Gorm is a lovely house easily able to accommodate a party of 6."

There is plenty of space and the rooms are a good size, with the added benefit of a garden if the weather is nice. It is tucked down a lane and is lovely and quiet, yet a short walk to the shops etc. The house is well equipped with everything you need for your stay. If cooking and dining in, the kitchen is well equipped. This is a great base for exploring the area. The Aviemore area is a short drive away and you can easily easily travel to the coast east of Inverness, the Speyside area, or further afield. Grantown has a good array of shops, if not their are supermarkets in Aviemore.

We both think it is one of the best self-catering properties we have ever used, and we want to return soon. Grantown on Spey is a very special town, and is ideally situated for exploring the Cairngorms National Park and the beautiful coastline of the Moray Firth.
