  • "We visit Scotland often and have stayed in several properties over the years but this has been the best."

Lynne was such a lovely lady and apart from the stylish, comfortable property, which lacked nothing you would need for a wonderful stay, there were lots of lovely little extra touches you don’t normally get. Lynne has got it absolutely right with both the property and her lovely way with people

  • "The lodge was far more than we expected."

Lynne really has thought of everything you would need and want. The personal touches on arrival are not only delicious but well received. I would go as far to say you just need to take your family and clothes, everything and I mean everything you need is there. There was lots of information about the local area and things to do. The garden area is very secure for our dogs, well one dog and a diva. Even they had their treats.. we had an amazing time and Lynne was so helpful and friendly. The view everyday was breathtaking Thank you and I would highly recommend this property to everyone.

  • "A lovely cosy lodge with all the comforts!"

The owners made us feel very welcome. This lodge is kept to the highest standard and was an absolute pleasure to stay in. Situated in a lovely area with woodland directly behind the house which is accessed by a garden gate and surrounded by great views. Lots of bird life and wildlife visits the garden too, including Red Squirrels. The village of Nethy Bridge is lovely with a well stocked shop & post office, there is also a brilliant farm shop and tea rooms. The location has easy access to others places of interest and the landscape is spectacular. We had a terrific holiday here, we were sorry to leave, we would definitely go back. Highly recommended!

Really well-equipped throughout. Thoughtful touches included all the maps, local guides, the binoculars to watch the birds and red squirrel. And the welcome pack was amazing!

  • "Lynne and Simon gave us a very warm and informative welcome shortly after our arrival and they had the wonderful Culreach Lodge spotless, with everything we needed including a fabulous welcome hamper & wedding gift including delicious homemade goodies for our 2 week honeymoon stay (thank you both once again!"

). The Lodge is in a beautiful, quiet area with spacious grounds which allowed our two dogs to run around and enjoy also. Lots of visiting birds in the garden and a huge woodland to the rear of the property to explore too (but beware of the Ticks on your dogs that were prevelant around the bracken at that time we went!). The lodge has been recently refurbished with modern fittings, a real home from home feel with pretty much everything we needed which made for a memorable and enjoyable stay. A small magnified make up mirror at the dressing table would have been useful (for the shortsighted like me!) but there was plenty of large mirrors to use and it wasn't a necessity. The bed was super comfy and the shower was a good pressure with an adjustable temperature. We were 5 minutes by car to Nethy Bridge, 10 minutes to Grantown-on-Spey and 25 minutes to the larger town of Aviemore. Lots to explore around the area and beyond and we used the A-Z atlas of Scotland that Lynne & Simon had left amongst other literature to use whilst staying there. On returning later at night after long days out, it was difficult to locate the entrance without any lights or reflectors on the gate but we judged it right most of the time and only missed the turning on one occasion!
