"Absolutely loved our stay at Drummond Cottage."
Had a family get together for our daughter’s 40th. 6 adults a three year old and my son’s dog. House was perfect size and very well equipped. Really clean and bright. Owner lives next door and was very friendly and helpful. There are beautiful woodland walks right on your doorstep and plenty places of interest to visit.
Would definitely like to visit it again and highly recommend it.

"A lovely holiday home."
Very well equipped and cosy - great welcome pack of milk, juice, coffee etc. I think it was the cleanest self catering place we have stayed in - and we've stayed in quite a few. With the owners next door we knew that if there were any problems (there weren't!) or questions it would be straight forward. Only about 2 minutes' walk to extensive (and beautiful) woods to walk our dog - though the garden is secure. And an easy 5 minute walk into town where you can get everything you need (small supermarket, lots of independent shops). We will definitely be back. ps don't miss a trip to KJ's Bothy Bakery in the industrial estate on the edge of town.

"I would highly recommend Drummond Cottage, it was a delightful place to stay."
With Scotland only just starting to open up again we were unable to do all the things we'd planned, plus it was unseasonably cold so were spending evenings in the cottage, but this wasn't a problem as it was a real home from home and the owners had even installed Netflix with this in mind (not normally something we would use on holiday !). Clare had left chocolates and flowers plus a very useful welcome pack of bread, milk, butter, juice, marmalade and Prosecco and was always on hand if needed. Ideal for our dog too with forest walks from the door and a nice enclosed garden. Top place, would definitely go back

"We chose Drummond Cottage because it is dog friendly."
It is located in a quiet street which is a few minutes walk away from the centre of Grantown with its shops and restaurants. It is also very close to Anagach Woods and its woodland walks which are ideal if you have a dog. The cottage was very clean on arrival and all of the necessary COVID precautions had been taken and we immediately felt comfortable and at ease. The owners live in the cottage next door but other than a welcome chat to make sure everything was as expected, we saw very little of them. The cottage is well equipped and has a smart TV with Netflix and a DVD player - bring your own DVDs as a result of COVID. Wifi signal and download speeds were good. The kitchen had everything we needed and having a washing machine and tumble dryer is always a bonus. The beds were very comfortable and the downstairs shower was a good size and powerful. We found the lean-to particularly useful for drying our wet dog after a couple of rainy walks and great for drying out muddy boots. There are plenty of good walks around Grantown but if you feel the need to explore further, then Aviemore and the Cairngorms are very close. We also took a trip up to Forres, Findhorn and Lossiemouth, enjoying a great walk on the beach at Burghead, all of which are within an hour's drive from Drummond cottage. Highly recommended.

Would definitely recommend this property and Grantown is a beautiful place for a stay vacation.

It was by sheer chance that I found Sykes Cottages which then enabled me to find Drummond House. I would definitely use the company again, and we will certainly stay af Drummond House again when visiting the Highlands as a family.
Once again,

"Drummond Cottage is a lovely, welcoming environment and immediately felt like home: its cleanliness was immaculate, Granton-on-Spey's setting is beautiful and Tom and Clare had made lots of small touches like leaving fresh flowers out, along with a welcome box of chocolates."
Whether we were looking for good access to Aviemore / Cairngorm Mountain, closeness to other local attractions like the Landmark Forest Adventure Park in Carrbridge or just to walk straight out the door and enjoy ambling along the banks of the Spey, it ticked all our boxes. When back at home, Drummond Cottage has a beautiful wood-burning stove in the living room for everyone to sit around and relax by, along with a large flat-screen TV with satellite and a good selection of DVDs with something for everyone all the family to enjoy. The kitchen is well-equipped and the washing machine and tumble-dryer even allowed us to keep on top of our washing so dirty clothes from a day playing out in the snow could be clean and dry for the next day's fun! The cottage also has 1 king and 2 twin bedrooms with generous space and walk-in wardrobes, as well as an extra single bedroom: enough to sleep all 6 of our family, including a teenage boy and a toddler, as well as two girls in between. The cottage also came with a pop-up cot and high-chair (on request) which were in great condition and very useful, as well as a table that would seats 8 comfortably (we had my parents-in-law, who were staying in Aviemore, over to dinner once during our stay and it sat all of us easily). Tom and Clare, who live next door, were helpful and attentive when we needed any help (e.g. to ask to borrow a spare set of keys so we could go two different places one day). Our main problem, with 4 kids, was always going to be leaving Drummond Cottage in as pristine a condition as we found it in, but we did our best. We hope that we'll be able to have the opportunity to visit again before long. We are sure many others will love staying here too - thank you for our stay and we hope to be back soon! Andrew and Liz
