  • "A fabulous cottage in a great location."

The facilities are to a very high standard and the views to the mountains are incredible. Grantown-on-Spey has everything you require as a base for a visit to the Cairngorms and Speyside along with many country walks for your dog. A most enjoyable holiday and cottage that we would certainly return to.

The gift on arrival is a special lovely touch. The neighbours are so friendly - we will certainly be returning. Had such a great week - only wished we were staying longer.

  • "What a gem of a place this is!"

Rose Cottage has been decorated to a very high standard, with many lovely little touches such as things for the dog when we got there (dog bowls! We'd forgotten to bring our own but two were provided!). There are cosy rooms and bright rooms, places to curl up and read and places to sit out. Every room is very comfortable, from the beds to the sofas to the bathrooms. The cottage close to the centre of Grantown-on-Spey, with good access to amenities such as the Co-op, restaurants, shops and petrol station. Despite this, the cottage feels far from the centre of anything. The views are out across a lovely lawn to the Cromdale hills. We watched clouds come and go, then sunshine on the peaks. Grantown itself is surrounded by more forest than we'd realised. It's a perfect place for nature lovers and walkers. The owners of the property went out of their way to help us when we had a problem (our own fault, but they were lovely!). Very highly recommended.
