"The property was perfect and the owners couldn't have been more accommodating."
We really enjoyed our stay in Wickie House.
"Second time I have been to this house & found to be delightful, my only groan is the double beds are standard size & a bit soft for me."
Would still strongly recommend this property.
"The listing did not explain that the garden has shared access with another property and dog."
This meant we could not allow our dog to use the garden unsupervised. Had we known this we would not have booked the property. This should be listed in the description.
"Beautiful home which helped make our holiday more special (Clovid forced a major birthday break to be a staycation)."
Would highly recommend Wickie House
"We had a fantastic week at Wickie House."
The accommodation is lovely and spacious and perfect for a family of 5 plus pooch. We loved being so close to the sea and really enjoyed going surfing with New Wave Surf School, paddle boarding with Outfit Moray and exploring the caves up by Covesea Lighthouse. We really hope to return again soon.
"Fab location- cosy house, everything we need - have already rebooked!"
"Wickie House was the most idyllic holiday location!"
The cottage was stunning with everything and more that you may ever need! The welcome pack left by the owners was lovely touch not only for my wife and I but also for the dog too :) having the log fire was a lovely feature which was used every night of our stay with plenty of spare wood available for our use. All aspects of the cottage were incredibly comfortable and very homely! Would highly recommend this property and will Most definitely be back in the very near future! It's worth the 8 hour drive from Lincoln without a doubt!!! 10/10

I think the double bed could be king size, felt they were a bit small, also the bath towels are small, otherwise delighted & will probably reboot this cottage

"Best holiday accommodation we have ever had."
Very dog friendly. Wonderfully welcome pack. So good we have booked the cottage for next year .11 out of 10. Would definitely recommend.
"Wickie House is furnished and decorated to a very good standard, comfortable and good sized, had everything we could have needed and Donna had left us a very nice surprise by way of a welcome pack."
Donna also sent us an e-mail on Saturday morning advising us of a road closure, to change our route, due to Seafest festival taking place. The beaches around the area are pretty spectacular, Lossiemouth has two beaches the East beach is particularly good, Roseisle beach is great and there are forest walks in abundance. Lots to do and see in the area in general.
"Beautiful house in a superb location."

About the location
Elgin 6 miles.
Lossiemouth is known locally as ‘the Riviera of the north’ because of its location, which benefits from the effects of the Gulf Stream and therefore has a temperate climate. Situated on Scotland’s north east coast, Lossiemouth is a perfect holiday destination as it not only boasts a very rich and interesting history with lots of visitor attractions but is also perfectly located to offer a wide choice of outdoor pursuits. The town itself has a surprisingly good selection of shops, hotels, pubs and restaurants and its wonderful coastal location means that the sea is always lapping away in the background. A walk along the coastal road is a refreshing and exhilarating experience as is a round of golf on the course located beside the shoreline. If you like being out on the water then you can choose to go fishing or perhaps dolphin watching on one of the many boat trips available. West Beach is a beach that stretches for 3 miles, beside the famous Covesea Lighthouse and this area is a windsurfers dream. For hill walkers and cyclists there are many trails and routes to follow and along the way you will notice the wildlife all around you. The north east coast has many charming fishing villages and a short drive from one will lead you along to the next, each with its own history and atmosphere. Whether your choice of holiday is in the history, outdoor pursuits, wildlife, touring or simply relaxing, it is all here in bucket loads!
