  • “We really enjoyed our week at The Orangery!”

Jamie is an excellent host and the cottage itself was lovely and homely - we were gifted a bottle of wine, eggs and bread which was a lovely touch. He provided us with wood and was on hand if we needed anything. The cottage *does* have WiFi and the internet connection was really reliable. TV signal was hit and miss during storm Ciara, but we rarely watch it anyway. Great heating system! Plenty of bath and beach towels provided, so you don’t need to bring any. Loads of books, jigsaws and puzzles to occupy you if you forget anything! The bed was really comfy and the wood burning hot tub was amazing! As others have mentioned, it takes a couple of hours to heat up, which wasn’t a problem for us at all: leisurely supper, game of Scrabble, music, then into the hot tub to see the stars - bliss! Thanks again for your hospitality Jamie.
