“Holiday details stated several things which were inaccurate- Secure garden - no gates did not stay closed so we had to fashion rope loops to keep dog in garden.”

    ...

Secure bike storage - when I asked about my this the key holder said we could store them in the Hall way as this was quite wide....we had eight bikes between the 6 of us no way could they fit in the hallway- we rolled back the carpet in the second sitting room and used this instead. Fully equipped kitchen - photos were misleading, kitchen was a galley kitchen and the oven was filthy! I had half a mind to throw some oven pride at it to make it less of a health hazard, but I was on holiday so didn’t! Bed linen and towels were supplied and clean, but I have always previously been offered a change of sheets and towels mid stay when staying for a fortnight. No offer was made, disappointing. The kitchen tea towel and hand towel supplied were not enough for 6 people for 2 weeks! Previous holiday let’s from you have provided as a minimum a pint of milk on arrival for weary travellers. After 12 hours travelling we were greeted with a packet of Frazzles and two packets of Angel Delight obviously left by the previous tenants. The house itself was spacious, but all the cupboards were filled with detritus from the owners it j lacked love and attention to detail.
