    A lovely experience. Exactly what we wanted from this part of our holiday. Owners were responsive to contact and made check-in a breeze. We had some minor issues with heating that we informed the owners of and they are looking into.

The property

This superior stone cottage, with many original features, is superbly located in the village of Nethy Bridge in the fabulous Cairngorms National Park.

The ground floor boasts a shower room, impressive dining room, contemporary kitchen and two lovely sitting rooms, both with large open fires to warm up and relax in front of after a busy day exploring the area.

A large private garden area surrounds this Cairngorms cottage and to the front there are lovely trees where wildlife abounds.

Within a few minutes' walk there are good local services and fabulous walks and cycle paths on offer, perfect for those active members of your group.

Also within easy reach is the very popular resort of Aviemore, with its wonderful attractions and outdoor activities.

Why not take the Strathspey Steam Railway journey from Aviemore on a nostalgic 20 mile round trip along part of the original highland railway?

This is perhaps the best way to see the countryside and makes for an unforgettable day out!

Or for the more energetic, pack your skis or snowboard in the winter, and head out for a day in the snow.
