“Cottage was excellent and very well equipped.”

Beautiful setting and surroundings. Only draw back was the mile long access track which was very rutted. Advert says take care on access road!! Was expecting a narrow lane.

This particular beach was seen as a threat for German invasion during WWII, the anti-tank ditches can still be seen today. A four-mile trip south along the coast will take you to Peterhead, a well-stocked town with a wide range of first-class spots to shop, eat and drink, also with attractions such as the Arbuthnot Museum, the Peterhead Town Trail and the harbour. The Craigewan Links golf course sits on the outskirts. Pretty Fraserburgh sits to the north, boasting the Museum of Scottish Lighthouses and a selection of amenities.
