Fantastic idilic property, has everything u could possibly think of, extremely clean comfortable bed private love the original features like the fold doors in the bathroom and kitchen … Iam local and lived here for a Hogmanay wedding due to no transport and I loved it so I can only imagine how people from afar would feel if they had never visited Portknockie ❤️

  • "This was a great property, perfect for my husband, dog and I."

Everything we needed was there, and it was spotless. The fridge wasn't as cold as we'd like. I did turn the dial inside, but with the instructions, wasn't sure if it was the correct way! We also found that the broadband was poor. Okay, as we were only using it for browsing, to get information on the area. I think watching Netflix would have been "hard work," with the buffering!

Many thanks for your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed the apartment. Apologies regarding the fridge. Unfortunately, turning the dial down to 4, you inadvertently turned the fridge up, not down. The Wifi is the best that is available for the area. Thanks again for booking 18b. Best wishes Pete & Karen Property Owner

The new bed was very comfortable and Port Knockie is our favourite place. We did put the bins out for dustman on Monday as they were overflowing particularly the shared ones. Having said that it was not a problem. We will be back

  • "Two light bulbs out in living room."

We find this with many properties.Toaster tray not emptied. Appreciate cleaners may not have time to clean oven but shelves/sides of oven really greasy. Not much room between wall and base of bed and shape/widening of base of legs didn't help. Once in bed it was comfortable but too low for us

Dear Gordon Many thanks for your feedback. We must apologise for the light bulbs and 2 items you mentioned re. toaster and oven. We have since contacted our cleaners about this. As we always consider feedback, we would advise that we have replaced the bed which now allows more space and is higher than the previous bed. Many thanks again Best wishes Pete & Karen Property Owner

  • "Beautifully decorated apartment with everything that you would need."

Excellent location very close to sea front. Would definitely recommend to friends and family if they were looking to stay in this locale. Unfortunately, very uncomfortable bed which was bearable but became more of a problem as our week moved on. This was something we think should be addressed for future residents as it was the only problem we had with this wonderful apartment.

Thank you for your review, We are delighted to hear you would recommend our apartment to your friends and family. We are sorry you found the bed uncomfortable but would point out that a bed is a very personal preference. We stay regularly at the property ourselves and find the bed to be very comfortable, and have had no other previous complaints. We will, however, bear this in mind should we receive any further negative feedback. With best wishes Pete & Karen Property Owner
