Location was excellent, was lovely to be so close to the coast and be able to walk to Cullen. We all had a fantastic time and would highly recommend.

"Beautiful, cosy and well equipped cottage."
Had everything you need for a relaxing base from which to explore the beautiful surroundings. It's clearly been very well looked after and thought put into the decorating and furnishing. The village is lovely, friendly locals and great amenities. We were all sad to leave.

"What a fantastic holiday we had."
Cottage was lovely and in the perfect location. Full kitchen which allowed us to have proper meals together. Sleeping comfort was exceptional, along time since I have slept quite so soundly! The village was very friendly with so much to do and see. I live in the local area but this place enabled me to have my whole family under one roof and it felt like a family home.
Thanks so much for the fabulous review. We love visiting ourselves too because of the location, but most of all to enjoy the lovely friendly village of Portknockie.

"Seems there’s a damp issue with the walls street side, lovely cottage had everything we needed."
Shame they only allow 1 dog as I have 3 and had to leave 2 at home along with my daughter

"Very comfortable cottage with everything you need for your holiday."
Great quality bedding and fittings, excellent shower and very comfortable bed. We only used the ground floor rooms but upstairs was nice and bright. Some of the best fish and chips and Chinese takeaway we have ever had, both a short walk away! Great walks, right from the door. We would look to rent this cottage again if we were visiting the area.

"Lovely little cottage in a beautiful village."
We loved our stay so much that we will definitely be back. The kids loved it that much that they want to move there. Thank you for an excellent stay in your lovely cottage, it made our week in the north of Scotland extra special.

"Lovely cottage furnished to a high standard with everything you could need."
Having the sea at the end of the street makes this the ideal location. Portnockie is a charming wee village and the beach at nearby Cullin is stunning. Had the most relaxing holiday and would highly recommend it.

"We had a really lovely break at the cottage."
First few days had wild weather but it was fine as we knew we were heading back to a cosy house where we would be able to relax and get warm. Had everything we could need, bright airy bedrooms and comfy beds. Situation was excellent for visiting all the lovely villages along the coast and once the weather cheered up we had lovely evening walks to the harbour and to Bow Fiddle Rock. Plenty places round about for lunch, coffee and cake. Cullen was lovely for the gallery, antique shop and gift shops and once weather was fine we could walk to it. Thoroughly enjoyed our time in Portknockie at the cottage and are planning to head back soon.

"We had a lovely week in Lille Norge Huus, which is very well appointed with cosy beds, gorgeously soft towels, a very comfortable living room and excellent kitchen facilities."
Portknockie is situated on a beautiful coastline and the house is a perfect base for touring the local area, both by foot and by car/bike. There are also excellent restaurants and cafes within a 10 mile radius.
A couple of recommendations for the file would be some info on regulating the heating and also on operating the TV.

Plenty of room for up to 6 to stay. The kitchen was well appointed and I really appreciated that there was plenty of storage space and a large fridge and freezer. Lovely bedding and soft cosy towels - a great touch
The TV was a little hard to navigate and we did miss standard freeview style channels - but Netflix and smart TV apps are available and are easily navigable if that’s your thing.
My only feedback would be that a full length mirror somewhere in the property would be useful. There’s nothing else that was missing though. Had a really lovely stay and would absolutely recommend, and would visit again.

.all home comforts available. Only build we would have is please list as portknockie NOT Buckie...it was difficult to find as post code didnt work ..and we were looking at gordon st in buckie...not portknockie..lovely place and accomodation.
