  • "The cottage was better than the pictures!"

  • "A highly recommended cottage that exceeded the expectations of all our group from 5 years to 96 years old."

Comfortable and well equipped, with the bonus of a downstairs room and bathroom for our granny. One very small criticism was the double beds upstairs were standard size - not a problem for most people, but a bit of a squeeze for my 6'4" husband! Still, we are in no way put off and will be back. Thank you for making ours a memorable holiday :) The Munros, France.

  • "The house was beautifully appointed with everything, and more, that might be needed in the kitchen and elsewhere."

It was clean, bright, fresh and comfortable. We loved coming back to this area where we used to live many decades ago. It was so refreshing to have a wonderful week of sunshine, so the coastal villages were looking particularly pretty. Some of us swam most days from attractive, clean sandy beaches. One of the main attractions was the quietness of the area, relatively few tourists and little tourist traffic.

  • "The cottage is absolutely beautiful."

..the decor is really first class and there was enough room for all of us ( 7 adults [1 of whom was in a wheelchair] and 2 babies) to feel really comfortable. The kitchen is particularly stunning!! We found that it was very well situated for a wide variety of trips/ visits/ etc and , of course is only 2 minutes' walk away from the harbour! GREAT!!

  • "This was our 2nd stay at Seaspray and have booked again for October!"

The cottage is a real home from home with fixtures and fittings of a high standard. There were 8 of us staying at the cottage and there was plenty of room for everyone. 3 bathrooms is a real bonus! Providing dinner for 12 on New Years Day was easy with plenty of dishes, pots to accommodate. We love the area and have visited Portknockie for years and still haven't been to all the neighbouring places of attraction.

' I have stayed in lots of 5 star hotels and none can match the bed at Seaspray, almost didn't want to get up. My family and I would happily recommend this very large and spacious cottage to anyone.

It was comfortable and cosy with good quality used in the furnishings of the cottage. We have been visiting Portknockie and Cullen for 30 years on holiday and this cottage will be top of our list for our next holiday. We loved the layout of the cottage, the underfloor heating in the kitchen and bathrooms and the large kitchen/dining area that all the family could sit enjoying our meals together. The beds were very comfortable (great sleep). The owners have catered for every need you require on a self catering holiday. Definitely recommend this cottage to friends and family.

It matched the pictures and description perfectly. We liked the homely touches and the attention to detail - the property felt like it was a well-loved place - we felt very much at home there! The location was perfect - just yards away from beautiful cliff top walks, where the views, particularly of the sunsets, were stunning!
