House is cosy and comfortable with everything you would expect when self catering. (We had 4 adults staying.)
Courtyard had plenty of seats and seemed to be a nice sun trap.
Great location in the village which has a super coffee shop, pubs, village store (which has everything you could need) and a mobile chippy which visits at dinnertime on Tuesdays.
Tomintoul has a variety of local walks of varying lengths, but is also a good base for accessing Cairngorms, Moray coast and Royal Deeside.
