By far The Old Rectory is the best property we have stayed at. Extremely comfortable, friendly hosts, in the country but not far from main roads to visit Norfolk. Nothing to do with the property but would advise against taking car into centre of Norwich! Ended up in pedestrian walkways with no option to turn around. Use park and ride or bus.

Thank you for your wonderful feedback, how wonderful to hear that you found our property the best you have stayed in with Sykes so far, that makes us very proud. Best wishes Rachel & Grenville Property Owner

We were welcomed by Rachel and Grenville and their lovely friendly dog. Once inside the property we found it very clean and comfortable, the beds were a delight to sleep on. We visited many places Southwold being our favorite, and if like us being a bit older we could use our bus passed to go into Norwich (do wear comfy shoes) which has a very big shopping center. We would certainly book this property again in the future. Sandra, Robert and Lynn.

We visited many places during our week’s stay. Norwich with its lovely shops, the cathedral well worth a visit, unfortunately the castle wasn’t open and will be closed for at least another year, upgrading the interior. We went to the Theatre too which completed our day. Cromer is worth a visit for their dressed crabs. Southwold a beautiful seaside town, with a very interesting pier, great Fish and chips too. Ramworth Broad Nature Reserve, Beckles, Wroham, Horning, all well worth a visit. The Ferry House Inn great for food also the The George and Dragon just 5 minutes drive away. We had a day visiting Sandringham and enjoyed a cream tea. All in all the Coach House is a lovely place to stay and is situated in the right area to visit many places in Norfolk and enjoy the countryside, the city and the coast line.
