  • "E've just left Rose Cottage and had a wonderful time."

The cottage is spotless. The beds are very comfy. It was lovely to be back in Norfolk again. We visited Cromer, sherringham, Yarmouth, Holt and numerous other fabulous places. Some reviews had mentioned the size of the fridge. For us it kept the beer and wine chilled and saved us from over buying food to waste. This cottage was perfect for us and 3 dogs and we will definitely be back. Thank you Mr @ Mrs Cox we had a great time x

  • "We enjoyed our stay at Rose Cottage, and would recommend the property as the garden was great for the dogs, The kitchen was a lovely size, but we were slightly disappointed that there wasn’t a washing machine, oven tray, only x1 tea towel provided , so I advise you stock up, the fridge is tiny to say the least unfortunately, especially for a family."

Nice comfy beds and clean . Bathroom was a great size, plenty of storage, but once again no cleaning products.

also was not made aware of the busy road out side the property

  • "We loved our stay, the cottage was lovely with everything we needed."

It was easy to find on arrival and was near places to visit. If we go back there we would use it again, as it was a quiet and relaxing place to stop.

  • "The overall property was good, the only 3 things that let it down was 1) the fact that we wasn't told/advertised that there was an annexe attached to the property, so we had to share the driveway and had people/ cars pulling up and walking past our property, if we had seen this on the website we wouldn't have booked this cottage, we went away for peace and quite."

    2) the size of the fridge freezer, tiny this definitely wasn't big enough to hold food for a family of 4, there was only 2 of us and we struggled to fit the basic things in, and had to shop twice during in our stay. 3) the fact we was only left 2 tiny bath towels and 1 hand towel and these was not the best of quality, I went out and brought some more , as there was no washing machine in order to wash them during our stay

Hi Ann thank you for your feedback. I think you may find that it clearly states that it as a joining property with a shared driveway. The freezer is half size of the fridge and accommodated family of six with no problems. Sorry that the towels were not to your satisfaction and we would have been more than happy to change them or give you more if you had contacted us. Thanks Lynn & Paul Property Owner

  • "We had a very enjoyable stay in Rose Cottage."

Paul was very welcoming and friendly. He gave us some useful information regarding local walks. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The garden neatly maintained and lovely to sit out in in the evening with a glass of wine. Located conveniently within walking distance from Cromer and East Runton and the beautiful woods opposite were perfect for taking the dog for a walk in. I found it really handy that the cottage was very near to local supermarkets. There was lots that we didn’t have time to do & so would love to revisit Rose Cottage in the future.

Thanks for your lovely comments Sarah. Your welcome at the cottage anytime. It’s always a pleasure to have such lovely people to stay at our cottage. Thanks Paul & Lynn Property Owner

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at Rose Cottage."

We had everything we could wish for and everywhere was spotlessly clean. For me, the mark of a good holiday home is soft fluffy towels and comfortable beds and we had both of those. The owners were very pleasant and helpful too.

Thank you for your lovely comments. Very nice people and a pleasure to have. Property Owner

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rose Cottage."

The cottage was well equipped and had a high standard of cleanliness. All facilities including off road parking, garden and access were excellent. We were unable to meet the hosts but a neighbour was able to give us information on the shortcut route to the beach and the walking in the woods opposite for the dogs. The general information booklet was very useful. The accuracy of the listing was extremely good, we would definitely use Rose Cottage again and recommend to friends.

Hi Jane thank you for your lovely feedback. We were also on holiday that week. Hope to meet you both next time Thank you Lynn and Paul Property Owner

We are NT members and despite the weather were able to visit and enjoy properties and country parks nearby. Felrigg brilliant as just across the road, so every morning a walk and a coffee and a cake planning the day!

It s ideal for dogs there s a short walk through woods to Felbrigg estate or you can walk for about 20 minutes to get to East Runton beach and on to Cromer . Most cafe s and shops let dogs inside and for an idealic break with your doggie friends it was perfect. Owner is on hand and was lovely and very informative on the area .

  • "It would have been nice to have a welcome manual with information regarding local takeaways and dining options, how to increase/decrease the heating etc."

also the shower floor was a bit slippery so could have done with a mat. otherwise the cottage was lovely and comfortable.

Hi David Thank you for your comments. We had a welcome Manual in the sideboard in the living room but we now leave it out on top of the side so it’s easier to see. We have also supplied a shower mat for anyone wishing to use it. Thanks Lynn and Paul Property Owner
