  • "It was a really lovely cottage and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay - we wished we could have stayed longer!"

  • "The property was fabulous- perfect for a family Christmas with enough space for everyone to get together to open presents by a lovely wood fire and Christmas tree, yet enough rooms so that people could have some quiet time alone as well."

The kitchen was very well equipped (although the toaster was a bit ropey- so we used the grill plate on the cooker instead). The Aga was a revelation for slow cooking the gammon for Christmas eve. The attention to detail from the hosts was superb- everything that we needed was there. There was even birdfeed in the hangers outside so we could watch the blue tits and chaffinches getting their breakfast as we had ours.

  • "The facilities at Waterfall Cottage exceeded our expectations."

It is usually the case in rental properties that the kitchen has a limited stock of crockery etc. This was definitely not the case and it was a delight to know that we had everything we could wish for. We loved the property and surroundings so much we have re-booked already.

  • "Beautiful house."

More amazing in reality than photos suggested. Felt very special. The owner answered some questions we had before our trip. And allowed us to leave an hour later to give us some wiggle room on the final morning - getting eight women through the three showers!

  • "House was quirky and amazing but layout of bedrooms was not ideal for a big family and a very pregnant lady."

Equipment supplied was great although would have liked sun loungers as weather was gorgeous and chairs got a bit uncomfortable . Wonderful to light fires inside and out and garden was beautiful . Hope to return

Animal small holding across the road had lots of fun feeding the pigs.

The garden is beautiful and the house sumptuous with a cottage feel and a kitchen for a chef! A real treat, where you are made welcome.
